CNY 2011

Okie, right after Fluffy's post, I figured out that I ought to talk bout my new life (my new 24 hours) in Perth. Then again, before that should be posted, I guess my CNY 2011 post should be cleared first.

On the 8th of Feb, we went on a house-visiting marathon, starting from Jhe Yee's house to Eloise's house then my house and finally ending the trip with Chelsia's house. Finally had the chance to learn MahJong and some other card games... lol My family doesn't have the tradition of gambling...

While the house-visiting journey ended around 6pm, I had dinner party at Mr. Pay's house!

Peanut and the gang!!

The Roast chicken and Mash Potato were delightfully lip-smacking, too bad I didn't have enough empty storage for other food!!

Group Photo on Mr. Pay's pillow covered bed!!

At last, CNY post is done... Phew...

Even though CNY still had a long way to go, I just sort of have to put it aside and make way for my new life at Perth, so even though CNY was still going on, I was just too busy settling down in my new place...

Coming up next, Perth!!

Hp G42!

Hi there. (>.<) Currently blogging on my new laptop, Hp G42~

Initially, my choices were Acer TimelineX 4820T (8 hours of battery, impossible but very attractive), Hp Pavilion dm4 1122 (gorgeous design) and BenQ Joybook S42 (8 hours battery life). Unfortunately and fortunately, the former two were not worth for value.

Acer, nah, Acer was never famous for its quality. Plus I hate Acer's new keypad design that collects dust and dirt which is just the same as its old one. While Hp Pavilion, a lovely series indeed but too expensive. I think, most of the cost goes to the design. As for BenQ Joybook, first of all, BenQ isn't that well-known, secondly that particular model was no where to be seen so too bad.

Then I was introduced to Asus laptop. While the face recognition and finger prints scan were pretty cool, I, I mean, my dad frown upon its price just like when I told him about my Pavilion desire. 'Lookie here,' he said, '2800+ for a laptop is too much.' (Not to mention that I'll be getting a new one a few years later.) Even when I told him mummy will pay 2000 for it and I'll pay whatever's left of the amount, he stood firm and announced that my laptop can be no higher than 2000 initially, but he soon raised it to 2200 since he couldn't find models as close as mine for that price.

And so we went to Low Yat on Sunday and shopped for the whole morning. Not sure how many girls out there enjoy IT shopping but I certainly did. While our main focus was to get a laptop with a good warranty, too bad every brand hates Perth and all their service centres are located around Adelaide... So never mind bout the warranty, let's try and get the best price for the best specs.

After walking around LowYat bargaining and checking out laptops, I, I mean my mum and I settled down with this Hp G42 for RM2300 deal, inclusive of a free 4Gb ram upgrade and free-of-service-charge-credit-payment.

Ooooooooh.
The keypad!!! Will this serve me better than its Acer predecessor did? Looks like it will! Hence, no keypad protector, it'll look hideous on my laptop anyway... Other than that, I really love how quiet it is when I type!
The only problem is, I'll need to get used to this new layout, particularly its Fn buttons, it's the total opposite of my Acer laptop. To use F1~F0, I have to press the Fn button as well. Ah well, guess refreshing my webpage would be more troublesome. But the vol and brightness buttons are fantastic, so...no pain no gain?

Mmmmm~
Pretty Touch pad is pretty.
But the right+left click button is very hard to click. D: Good thing i like tapping better.
I especially like the 'Double tap on the top left corner to disable touch pad' function. Pretty cool eh?

And since I have this new baby, Logitech Mouse M215, I won't be using the touch pad that often.

I wanted a M305 at first, but the designs available in Malaysia were pretty disappointing. Where's my Dark Floral model??? Then I thought of getting the bluetooth one which looks more eye pleasing with its metallic blue design. But meh, bluetooth always give me a lot of problem. In the end, I found this model.

Not bad for a 50 buck mousey, while it looks like the M305 would be more comfy to use, I think M215 is pretty good considering that its colour doesn't hurt my eyes.

Got BlackHayate a Kingston 8Gb pendrive for forfeiting my free kits.

And yeah, one problem I have with this laptop is its tight usb ports which had me to go through a tough time trying to snuff my mouse receiver and other pendrives in. Maybe it takes time to loosen up. I don't know, but we'll see bout that.

In the end, I'm pleased to have a new laptop, even if what I get isn't what I wanted/expected. My hopes of getting one with the weight of 2kg + 4 hours battery life is pretty much lost seeing that this baby here weights 2.3kg and lasts for 2 hours on idle mode. Still it's a major upgrade from my Acer if you compare its Intel processor, Windows, graphic ca...oh-wait-Acer-doesn't-have-one...

Ah well, wait till I start earning my own money and I'll see what happens then.

Holiday Updates

Had a fantastic time in Penang.

Went to watched Tron 3D at Megamall with my cousin and sister. The 3D glasses kept sliding off my nose, in the end I had to fold my ticket and used it to support the glasses.

The visual was absolutely stunning, especially the 'Game' part, and now I wish I have a bike like that in real life. Too bad the story was just meh~ It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. In fact, with production quality of Tron: Legacy I wouldn't mind if they throw in Sora and Riku (which reminds me that I need to finish the games before I leave...)

Watched The Tourist on the next day, the story was certainly more interesting that Tron. Best scene of the movie: Johnny Depp in Pyjamas.

As we finished the Tourist, we went back to our HQ, 600cc to find that Eden, my cousin's daughter had just vomited on her dress. So here comes 姨姨 to the rescue, with my new bought top.

What's ya know? She looks gorgeous cute (ugly but adorable) awkwardly adorable in it!!

And she knows how to pose in front of a camera too!!!

If only I had a belt with me...

Pfffft.
She was so cute, in a funny way, that my face and stomach ached from laughing.
Urgh, I need to stop looking at these photos or I might start rolling and laughing again.

Well, that was pretty much what happened in Penang. Shopping, Movie, Eat, Sleep, Babies.
Simple but enjoyable.

Though, it was epic phail for us for failing to have steamboat as we intended, promised, planned and replanned to. Next time perhaps?

Penang and Poppy

Ah Penang~
The land of delicious food, freedom and lots of dust and mosquitoes!!
How I love it save for the dust and buggy part....

Mum's been going to Penang for the past month quite frequently, but I never went along with her due to various upcoming-now-over exams.

Right after JLPT ended, we headed back home to grab our luggage and we're off to Penang for a special occasion:

My grandpa's 80th birthday!!!
Mmmmm~
Two cakes!!! Because he has so many kids and grandkids!!! xD

Arrived around 10+, we bustled around our room getting rid of the dust and everything. A maid ran away from home again so no one was there to clean our room. But nvm, the monkeys enjoyed wacking the hell out of the poor mattress anyway. While they they busy, I sneaked out to check out my cousins, and on my way back to our room,

I s.a.w. t.h.i.s.:
Poppy, I mean, Puppy eyes!!!!!!!!!! xDDD
The truth lies in a cat's puppy's eyes~
I can see my own reflection!!! xP

It was dark but his eyes were gleaming like stars while his tiny body was half-hidden behind a pillar~ Ooooh how I felt my heart turns into goo as I literally sprung across to cuddle to furry thing. But since it was getting late, I had to leave the most lovable thing on earth and get some sleep. Woke up next morning and continued cleaning the room.

Halfway through, the thought of Poopy was actually very dirty (under the sunlight his white fur was grey 0.o), I sneaked out and dognapped him for a nice bath. Holy sheep, the colour of the dirty water was so shocking and Poppy looked like a lamb once out of the tub!!!!

Later that night, we went to some Chinese restaurant (lol since when have I gone to any restaurant/food court that wasn't Chinese in Penang?). Food, was a tad too much for everyone. Even Poppy was able to enjoy a portion of our dinner. lol

After our overwhelming dinner, it was cake time and Ang Pau time!!! And by Ang Pau time I mean we get ang paus too!! But we don't just get the ang paus, we have to do something to get them, and the trick was to pour out some of our brain juices and give our birthday star a kiss on the cheek.

Spent the last day in Penang playing/training Poppy, shopping with my honey cousin and her friend and my sis and finally watched Rapunzel!!! Cute story was cute, and the animation was what I love the most!! It's been a while since I've last watched cartoons that are beautiful without deforming too much of its characters.

Poppy eating a Char Siew Pao!!
Sad owners of his... Nvm, dogs are tough animals, they won't die from eating too much junk food. =.=

Weekly Update, Not

A lot happened last week.

I started work at my dad's office, doing some menial stuff including answering phone calls (which I should just let the accountant to do cause 9/10 people who called were looking for her, me answering the phone was pretty much wasting everyone's time anyway), photocopying documents, cutting and sticking some cardboard stuff and read newspapers.

Then I was given Thursday and Friday off to take my maid, Savy to go shopping before she leaves Malaysia for good. So that's 2 easy days for me. Then, off she went back to Cambodia after working at our house for 5 long years.

Right after we came back from the airport, I finally started my Nihongo revision, which I kept on telling myself time to start and yet managed to wait to the last minute again... =___= hehehe....

But it was alright.

The next day, 5th Dec, I thought and hoped I was well-prepared. Left our house at 1pm with Osla and my sis with my mum driving and we're off to Confucius High for JLPT, or so we thought. Not that we didn't make it, but damn, some crazy people just had to have some demo in KL and quite a number of the examinees were caught in the jam. We made it in time, but many didn't.

The JLPT people thus decided to delay the exam until 3pm, which was supposed to start at 2.30pm. Of course, we hate to wait, and some can't even wait since they have a flight/train to catch or something. But if we think from some unfortunates' pov, I'd be glad that they do so. So, no complains there.

The Vocabulary/Grammar exam was pretty easy, I think I can score about 80%-90% for that... But the Comprehension one was tough. Blegh. Many weird stuffs I never seen before... The listening one was piece of cake. If I got the last question right (which I kinda failed to listen properly), I think I can score full mark. It'd be a shame if I got other questions wrong since I was so sure I understood all.

And if I need something to blame for the mishap for the last question, I'd blame the freezing hall. Heeesh, what is wrong with all those air-con system??? Why are these management wasting so much money on making the temperature too cold for us to survive???

Anyway, it's over now. That'll be the last exam for year 2010. :D

Up next, my Penang trip!!!!

December!!

With my First Year ended a week ago, I'm now whisked away to worked at an Web-design oh screw that my dad's office, well I was supposed to work at some web-designing company until my dad's receptionist threw the letter and left her post open.

So I'm working now as a office girl who spends most time doing menial tasks, reading newspaper when there's nothing to be done and hopefully receiving some sort of salary which he once suggested giving me but left the topic forgotten at the sight of lunch.

Just 2 days before my final exam, Finance 203 (which was actually Calculus), I went PAWS in hope to check out my stupid dog with the monkeys and Lizzie. Sadly, she was still under quarantine, so no hope of seeing her tail or anything bigger than that. Instead, we walked and bathed 16 dogs in total. My first dog was a jumpy one who kept on springing onto me. Couldn't remember how the second one looked like, but the third, or maybe fourth, one was particularly unforgettable, I mean, how often do you see a white sausage dog (possibly a mix, and a rather fat one too) with black spots and a pair of black patches on her back that resembles a pair of wings.

Thought of going back there to see Potato again, but seeing that I'm now stuck working with my dad... =______= Haiz...

With my thoughts on the stupid dog settled temporary, I was finally back to the studying mood for Calculus, which I slept/daydreamt through every classes and lectures. (Now that I look back, that seems like a bad idea) Bleh. It wasn't too hard to grasp the theories, but still studying half a sem's worth of subject in one day wasn't totally possible by myself. Thank god I found a mum at college who taught me whatever I never paid heed to in class. xD Luv ya~

The exam, was....

Despite everything that indicates that I was supposed to be lucky that day...

The final question was so shitty.

I got the steps correct, the only tiny mistake was the bloody +/- sign the question specially modified for us. Moreover, Mr. Mani wasn't in my exam venue giving me the bloody tips which could really save me.

Bleh whatever. HD may be ouut of reach now. I'll just aim for a D...

Right after that, went shopping at Kota Damansara with the family. Visited so many boutiques that my eyes were blurred at the sight of everything from clothes and dresses to the cleverly-designed interiors. I'm not famous for splurging money on impulse, except for sometimes, so I returned home empty-handedly despite seeing many attractive items that made my heart pound.

Went shopping at 1U last Saturday to get my sis something decent to wear for a concert. While my mum was raiding a particular shop, Iora with the help of the shop assistants, I found and snagged a chiffon top and a black skirt. xD Technically, I tried on both and my mum paid them (Wakakakakaka), so now the black skirt belongs to me, while the chiffon top belongs to my mum although I shall be wearing it more frequently (or at least I think I will). xD

Anyway, JLPT isn't very far away from now, 5th Dec is like zooming in pretty fast alright... =___= So it's time to dig out my rusting text book and revise with my sis...

Lalala~

So yes I've noticed that my last post was like 3 weeks ago and I haven't been updating frequently lately. Wall of text full of random thoughts beware.

Not really sure what's wrong with me, but it's just that I'm always losing the steam when I had something I wanted to blog about.

Anyway, my life's quite a mess right now.

I'm still working for my dad despite that my second sem has started, like for a month. So yes I have a darn good excuse for not being able to work right now and I love Uni even if I have a huge pile of assignments waiting to be written. But of course sometimes I don't get enough sleep due to that.

Furthermore, I've been driving 123, my dad's Honda Accord Manual car for about a month. WHY? Because he was complaining that I can't/forgotten how to use a manual car. And NO I still don't like driving manual car even though I've mastered the most basic skill. Of course driving it during jam hours is hell-ish. Urgh. Thank god I'm charismatic to convinced him that I can't drive it during the jam so I get to switch cars, sometimes.

What else is occupying me? My ballet practices. Oh yes my Intermediate exam's coming up in September and I don't like it, not one bit. Especially hearing that examiners are biased and they won't/don't/can't look at you if you're not slim/pretty/tall. Ouch. Reality bites I know. D=

So to make up for my look, I have to work harder. And by harder I mean really hard. I'm going to practice for 4 times per week from Thurs to Sun. There goes my shopping time. D= But it's ok, because it'll be over after the bloody exam!!!!!!!!! Then I can go on a shopping spree I have been deprived from!!!!

*

Ok, so here I am again. Got called away to work until 3am this morning and didn't get to finish what I'm typing.

Anyway, let's talk about our debate.

So, debate was fun, debate was cool, debate was crazy, and debate was stressful.

Preparations were done quite thoroughly, I think. We had like, the most meetings among the whole class I guess. Yeah, very semangat!! xD

And bleh, I knew I should have prepared myself earlier, lol. Lack of training caused my hands to trembled even though I know there shouldn't be anything to be nervous about!! Damn. I don't feel nervous, but my heart just pumped so fast that it made me nervous.

Will this be our, or my last debate? I'm not sure, but most likely. But it was interesting. Well, for my debate, I'd say it was kinda breath-taking, since we have Lizzie we were like 'woah it's show time!' when she started her rebuttal. Hmmm. But the funniest one was Chel's team where Chel and Jiri went rebutting at the speed of a bullet train. Jiri's one was particularly harsh, slapping the opponents with questions like, 'Your point contradicts your first speaker's point, aren't you slapping his point?' and 'What are you doing actually?'

Well then, that's it for now. Time to clear up that pile of assignments!!!

Curtains Up 2010 at PJLA

It's a delayed post due to all sorts of reasons. Nevertheless, it's here!!!

Daily doses of Excitement

Happy birthday MonkeyGirlRachOopsIwatchedtoomuchofVampire'sAssistant, I mean 钰钰。

Little monkey is 13 already.

Hrmm...

Happy birthday and blah-blah-blah-blah, now let's save the birthday wishes (do you really care about me saying all those things?) and move on to the next story.

清明时节欲中暑,
墓场寻匙热呼呼。

Went 清明 yesterday. The weather was as painfully hot as usual and my sister forgot to put sunblock (she came back looking like a roast turkey), hahar.

After a long morning under the scorching sun working hard with our distant relatives, we were all relieved to retreat to our cars, far away from the blazing sun.

Except that my aunt's car key (passed to my bro, then to my mum) was missing.

And so everyone ended up scanning the whole area for the missing key. Hell no it was no easy task. Supposedly the key with a metal whistle attached to it should be shinning so brightly under the crazy sun, but no, we just weren't able to find the glittering item.

As my XiaoMi was informed to come up to Ipoh to give us the spare keys we were called back. Being me, the girl who doesn't give up easily *applauses*, I went through the route my mum took when she came up the hill as we descended.

And being me, the awesome me who's destined to save the day, I found something that looks like a whistle, with a plain looking Toyota key beneath and a black remote control beside.

At the split second, I went, 'heythatlooksalotlikethekeywe'relookingfor *since it wasn't my key I wasn't really sure*, could it be some other lost key? But how often does one come across another missing key while looking for one?'

And so I picked it up and skipped down the hill briskly, I totally forgot about the 'OH-MY-GOD-I'VE-FOUND-THE-KEY' victory scream until I've started to gain momentum as I tore across the field.

And now I've got a very good reason to make my mum to give me a full sponsorship on my handbag. xD

And that's the end of the 2 short stories.

A Very Late CNY post

It's now or never. And so I've finally mustered up the determination to finish this post.

Pre-CNY
Went to Sogo to shop for clothes with my mum a week before we went back to Penang! It was so crowded!! And there, I searched for my dream bag on the lowest floor. I was so disappointed that nothing suits my taste, until, it went 'kira-kira' amongst other bags!!! Whoot~ But it's so frigging expensive!!!! D: RM279!!!!

And so, I've started my bag fund, starting from my cousin!! xD It's nice to have an older cousin who's close to you~ :3 Love ya Honey~ (I'm clutching it the moment I'm typing this!!)

Went shopping in Subang Parade on the next day and bought my CNY red shirt~

Spent the next 2 days in my dad's office trying to fix the wireless router for him, but stupid thing refused to work so I returned on the 2nd day to do it and it still screamed 'epic-failure'.

Went to Atria for a hair cut on Wednesday, before the day we took off to Penang~

Was really busy on Thurs. Firstly, we took Potato to the vet for her vaccine, then we picked up my sis, packed our luggage into the car, drive to Selayang, buy the crab, and finally we're hitting the road!!!

Friday, 11th Feb
Went to a restaurant and requested the chef to murder cook the crab for us! Since it was so big that no one dare to cook it in case we screwed up.

Sea view~ Twilight!! Not that Twilight but another Twilight!! :D

We caught an Alaskan crab!!! xD
Haha. No la... We bought it from Selayang and drove this creature all the way up to Penang. It survived for 48 hours +(which should be 4 hours) in the fridge, buried in ice!!

And here we were, 'Live Long and Prosper' my brother's style, waiting for others to arrive for the feast~

The sad crab. It weighted 2kg!!!

Yummy~ It may be big in size but its meat was tender and soft~ Ah lovely lovely crab, may you rest in peace in our stomachs!!

My sis and my niece~ Sleeping in a similar fashion on our way back! LOL
除夕
Went to a restaurant to had our reunion dinner. Going out for dinner was nice, but I do miss those time where we had it at home. Everyone would help out with the tables, chairs, preparing the food, and cooking. But that was before all my cousins left the main house... D:

Boo-ya! 2 crazy aunties bullying playing with their niece.

More disappointing was, I didn't get to sit with my honey cousin. But food was decent and it was still nice to be with everyone. :)

Went back to the main house after dinner and did the usual thing. Prepare the pineapple, candles, joysticks, and etc to 'bai-bai' (not bye-bye!!). Had a lot of fun toying with the little devil's sister, who shares the same fate of being less-loved by my unbelievably 'pian xin' grandmother. I was much more fortunate compared to my other cousins as I was the second most-loved granddaughter.

After finished 'bai-bai-ng, it was time for 红包!! xD But I was busy as usual, seeing that I'm such an genius. (lol) Connected to my cousins in Canada with Skype for the technologically illiterate such as my uncle (and his wife) who refused to use Skype. lol It sure was amusing to see them staring greedily at my cousin's face on the screen.

初一
Didn't do much on that day since the Cantonese tradition forbids us to visit others on that day. So stayed at home, until my outgoing grandmother can't stand the boredom and whisked us out~

初二
Went to visit my maternal grandparents~ My bunch of maternal cousins who share the same surname as mine were there also!!

As usual, we had the contest of 'the longest wisher'. LOL So tiring for us to sing a continuous stream of wishes.

My younger cousin, the eldest among them. He shares the same ego of an elder sibling as I do. And we certainly agree on a lot of things since he's only a year younger than me. lol

Spent the whole day surfing there and reading magazines. Then we went to another relatives' house.

You don't get to eat this in Canada!!!!
Actually, this photo was taken to make my cousin in Canada to drool in front of her laptop. But I got very lazy and it never reach her. lol

初三
Went to Jusco to shop with our niece tagging along.

Evil monster is very evil and stubborn. Banyak susah nak shopping with her.

Got back in the afternoon and went to my other grandparents' apartment again!

These tress are so pretty with the yellow flowers blooming on them!! I even saw a yellow 'sakura' tree on a highway!!! It had so many flowers that I couldn't see the leaves at all!!! So pretty!!

Went back to the main house for dinner, and when we want to leave the house, the devil was still asleep. D: Waking her up and getting her out of the house was a serious pain-in-the-s. Urgh. You really can't imagine how difficult this kid is.

初四
My mum planned to leave on this day, but she too wanted to stay back and so we stayed back. xD

Cadbury Gold.
Bought a box of it from Jusco since it was heavily discounted.
It tasted nice alright. But the shape and pattern wasn't pretty as the surface doesn't look smooth, which is a disadvantage comparing to some other gold colour chocolate (who need not to worry about its appearance).

It was delicious, but not to the extent that we're addicted, so unless someone buys one for us, we won't be buying it anymore. lol

初五
Left Penang early in the morning with 4 boxes of 600cc's secret recipe in our car. Reached home around 11. Soon Lizzie arrived and we went to Sogo while my mum went to work.

Went to check out my dream bag for n times before we finally left the building and headed to the LRT station.

Had to take it since my mum is still working and obviously couldn't fetch us.

That night, went to Old Town at Taman Megah for the gathering. Finally saw KwanHanFail after almost a year!!! And at last, I got the money he owed me for a year!!!

初六
Went to Raub to visit my XiaoMi's mama, who is my grandmother as well. Met a lot of unknown relatives and got my pocket full of Ang Paus~ xD

初七 & 初八
Didn't do much except for the usual things we do on a weekend.

初九
Went to college to pay the car park fee, which was unfortunately unavailable anymore. D: I didn't know they changed the payment date... T.T

Anyway, found out this.

Annie's the rare gem to get this award which wasn't won by anyone for a few years and probably the last (seeing that UFP is no more d) to get the award for RM500 voucher!!! Annie you're amazing!!!! But why aren't you a guy!!!!

初十
A normal day which includes rotting at home surfing the net.

十一
Orientation for my Curtin Course!!!! Met a lot of people I failed to see during the 3 months break!!!

After that, went out with them for a movie at Sunway~

十二
Went to college again, to changed my CIB to BIS. The Curtin system lagged throughout the whole process. Something simple that could be finished within 15 minutes time strecthed for hours. D:

十三
It was a public holiday, so all my mother side's family went to visit another relative together. Except for the durian ice-cream buffet there, nothing interesting happened.

十四
Went shopping at Tropicana City Mall. Had lunch at.... Sorry I forgot despite being there for a number of times already... Hehe

My seafood spaghetti. Honestly, all I want to eat was the prawns. So the mussels, clams, and sotongs went to my mum's plate. :3

Oooooooooooh!!!
Pork Burger!!!!  Finally in Malaysia!!! Rejoice people!!!

十五
Last day of CNY!! Did nothing extraordinary.
1st March
End of CNY.

And this concludes my CNY for 2010~
And now,
I shall get some sleep and wake up early at 6.30 for tomorrow's class.
Good night people~

Bits and Pieces

Allergy
See the scratch marks see the scars. I'm allergic to dust mite how pathetic and it sucks to be. Should I be grateful that I'm not allergic to food? Or maybe I should be grateful that I'm not allergic to the medicine...

Boredom
All it takes to grow fungus on fungus and more fungus on the fungus growing on top of your head, which usually turns the host into an involuntary afro head. Also the cause of me vomiting blood and internal bleeding due to watching lousy anime. I was bored and that's it.

Cafe
I don't drink coffee, unless there's chocolate in it. But chocolate all the way if possible. Had a nice brunch with the creepy lawyer-to-be, the psychotic dream girl, and the guy who uses a China phone (I must say his phone looks hot but I rather not use it in case it blows up any part of my body)

Dog
Trainings and trainings. Potato (豆豆's official English name) will soon how to sing. yesyoureadmeright. She's learning 'down' right now, an achievement neither dogs or cats or hamsters or fish have done so. Soon, it'll be 'roll over'. But currently, she's no doubt going to be bald quickly due to excessive frowning. You heard read me right, she frowns, a lot, for a puppy her age.

Holiday
It's a looooooong holiday that's coming to an end faster than I know. Part of me embraces it while the other part certainly rejects it. Definitely, Uni = less time at home and more time for outings (no mistake here, but it's true in my case), but it also carries the meaning of homeworks and assignments and projects and exercises and reports and proposals and the list goes on and on to mugen and beyond.

Home
Don't bring your work home, a lot of people say. What happens when your boss lives under the same roof as yours? Life's sweet, simple as that. You get to work under him 24/7 and as long he please, no excuse, unless your customers are waiting for some export business in the loo.

Internet
There's no way I'll sleep before 12 with my laptop connected on my desk in my bedroom.

Lunch
Had a few lunch session with Bling at Baker's Cottage and Korean Street Cafe. There goes my money, all traded for her latest gossip.

Kingdom Hearts
I'm playing it again. Thanks to boredumb. Harhar. I know I should be watching the not so interesting channel 518/519 on Astro but because it's his orders that my natural immune system started resisting it. Now we shall see when I'll be screwed up for not doing so harhar isn't this exciting? It's ok, I have time, now let's finish up Chain of Memories ENG ver and I'll start the JAP ver!!!! YAY!! Miyu Irino as Sora!!!

Manga
Just got hooked up with Monochrome Factor. I ended up watching the anime, which resulted with blood vomiting and internal blood loss for countless time. And I think I'm dropping Fairy Tail, ohwatamIsaying, I've dropped it already. Same reason, all due to deformed characters and lousy script. Sadsadsad, I just don't understand why can't they learn how to do something decent and scrap those MahouShoujo transformation scenes!!!!!!!

Outings
If I count my official outing with random people I find free at the moment it's like, less than 2 times in Jan oh wait did I even make it for the 2nd time? All due to one remark hem-hem made, 'goBUplayplayandnowyouscrewupyourwork'... Ah yes, my memories certainly didn't fail me at all, it was you who questioned me for staying in house and not being active at all, heck, you even asked how long have I last seen my friends. And now you're not happy with my work and decided that I'm not worthy to go out. Life is sweet and I'm a piece of trash. Since trash don't play, I shall stay indoors so that you won't have to degrade yourself anymore, how noble of me. harppi? And if you ask me why, I'm not telling you the reason harhar.

Phone call
It was nice to hear the voice of someone over the phone, or you can put it this way, there's no way you can not smile while hearing the bullet train's crazy voice.

Restaurant City
Yes I'm still playing. With this dream design I have in my mind, I'm working very hard on it. But Playfish made me changed the plan so much with its upgraded version that I had to work harder for moar money. Sad case. Fortunately, they increased my ability to make more money for good. Phew.

Smoking
Maggi mee/Nihon mee/Korean mee for lunch, dinner, tea, and supper. Oh scrap, I forgot, it's only for lunch. If you ask me, I have totally forgotten how lunch was like when we were young. But with our amazing cooking skill, when there's no food at home (not literally duh) we eat instant noodles like white bread, which has now been replaced by wholemeal bread under hem-hem's influence due to the fear of high-blood pressure after he quits smoking. Yeah, congratulations on the determination and so on, but why did you smoke at the first place?

Wii
William never told me warm up before playing. Ebil guy. Bleh.

I'm late >.<

As the tittle says, I'm late!!!!! D:

While others greeted 2010 and looked back at 2009 reminiscing those memorable times, I'm still here.

But wow, it's been a busy month for me.

I've been travelling North and South visiting my grandparents, celebrating birthdays, and shopping helping out at my aunt's restaurant 600cc, and not to mention working for my dad (maybe I should have pretend that I can't use Photoshop at all... ). xD

Brought my pair of monkeys to Taman SEA to get their exercise books. All the cars were taken and so I used my dad's new (to him) 8-year-old Merce...

How I love my old Honda. Merce is meant for BIG people with BIG hands, BIG foot, LONG legs, and a BIG wallet to pay for accidents bill. Never again do I want to touch that car again!!!!!!! The pedal was too BIG, the seat was too BIG, my foot was too small and not to mention I have short legs and RIP for me if I scratch it... D:

And naturally, the back doors were always not opened, so I had to drive all the way in front. With the beloved Ministry had to release the PMR result early (unknown to me since JiaLe told me it'd be on the 28th) and the frantic students+parents all waiting, I drove all the way to the back gate... D:

Sad people, these students had to wear uniforms to get their result. Tsk tsk. Pure sadness. Thank god our time was over!!

Went back to Penang for another weekend the next day and celebrated Xmas with Vincy~~ ♥

The Penang Bridge got expanded!! It now had 3 lanes on both sides!!! No more terrible fruit jams!!

Drove all the way to Penang island for the meetings!!! Luckily my mum had some business to do and I was able to meet Vincy~

Me and Vincy!!!

lol The wind was so strong that our hair were messed up!!! Vincy took a few shots but the rest weren't that nice at all!!! xD She needs to practice harder!!!

Went walking around the little shopping mall opposite of Adventist Hospital and we had ice-creams at McD together~

Wonder how many people sneeze when we chatted!! :3 The weirdest topics were probably those about gays/lesbians/my confession to Annie~ LOL

The next night we celebrated my Ah Gong's Birthday together with my paternal grandparents and the Queen of Chaos!!!

Got up real early in the morning again to get back to PJ for our Japanese lesson...

Spent the rest of the week working at home and that's pretty much how my 2009 ended...

Will update real soon about my current status with the new and heart-meltingly adorable and blur-blur puppy!!! ♥

Cameron - Corns

Meiko and where's the sake??
It's Pasar Malam!!!!!

My mum and I went shopping at the pasar malam in Cameron!!

We planned to go on the night before, but we were all wore out and it was scary (to me at least) when it was dark in the mountain... >.<>illegally at the police's apartment... But we were very lucky to spotted a car leaving near the pasar!! :3

Short walking distance= good parking spot :D

Giant leeks!!!!!!!!!!

Almost all the greens/plants/flowers there are huge. But the price weren't as cheap as we thought. It's still cheaper though, seeing that it's a tourist hotspot we supposed that's why the price was still kinda high considering that transport fee should be excluded.

There were veges, flowers, jackets (the weather was cool and cold at night, naturally ), strawberries phone straps, dried strawberries, corns, fresh strawberries, toys, and more strawberries plushies all around the pasar malam.

KFC at Cameron!!!

We left the market with bags (literally) of corns, some in our backpacks and some in plastics bags, some veges and some steamed corns (again!!).

By the time we got back from the night market driving through the dark, dark streets, these people at home had started a cackling fire!!!

:D

A fire at home in Malaysia!!!! Wheeeeeeeeeeeee~~ FASCINATING!!! xD

The aunties and uncles were the ones who started the idea!!! Haha.
They even moved the Mahjong table into the living room from the other room since it was so cozy there~

And...... This is how it looked when the fired died...

Went to bed early that night (after having corns for supper) since we had to wake up eeeaaaarly in the morning to get our Japanese class.

Woke up around 6 and started packing our things, and not forgetting the last-minute photo spamming spree~~~

From the nearest in clockise: our wardrobe key, room key, and bathroom key!!

The four of us (me, my mum, sis, and bro) shared 2 rooms and a bathroom, me and my sis, my mum and my bro. Our rooms were connected by the bathroom and only one side of the bathroom has a bolt while my side needs to be locked with a key.

Love the keys!!! It's so antique and Kingdom Hearts-ish!!!

The key hole of my room door to the living room!!! In ancient times and movies/novels/animes, you can peek into the other side the key hole!!! And so we tried it out~ Not much can be seen but still we could see something!!

It was so fun taking bath when it's cold! We got to see the bathroom getting misty~

My room!!!

The bed was soft~ The blanket was warm, only after I snuggled inside to warm it up... And believe it or not, we brought our own pillows and blankets!! Our blankets get warm faster so I covered myself with my own blanket before pulling up the thick and heavy one on the bed!

The temperature was cold at night and the blanket was just right for us! It feels good to snuggle inside my warm bed when it's cold~

This is where our housekeeper lives with her family + Blacky, right in front of our house!!

The living room with the fireplace!!

The other side of the living room!! The bright light over there is the entrance!!

The dining area!!

Where we had all our great dinners!!

The Mahjong/Ping Pong area!! So bright so pretty in the morning!! But it was rather scary at night when the surroundings was dark and we couldn't see anything from inside...

The view from upstairs!!! My mum's friends left before we did (those hungry people will do anything to get to Ipoh to get a good breakfast) so we went up to the rooms they used~

Front view of our house!!

The narrow road leading to our bungalow!
Taken while we drove down...

Group photo before we left Cameron!!

And this concludes our trip to Cameron this year!!!
