Train Wreck

Result was out on Wednesday 12.30am, I went to sleep before that after waiting for hours before my laptop for it to be released. When I woke up, Amanda's message made my heart flipped.

CIB 71
FIN 72
MKT 73
MGT 81

3 Ds and 1 HD. Was expecting more HDs... But for getting a HD in MGT was pretty surprising. Yet again, what I expect worse usually exceed my expectation to be better than I could have hoped for. It looks like I did pretty well for MGT's paper. For an internal mark of 35/50, I scored 46/50 for the paper??? I can't believe the crap the I gave could have worth so much. Wow.

Then again, I guess I should reflect on my other 'Ds' subject. CIB is pretty hopeless, Bleh. My internal mark is 46.5/60 (greatly thanks to my presentation 12.5/15, which pulled up the average!!), so that means I scored a measly 24.5/40 for the paper. Wow too.

Next goes to Finance Quantitative, which is actually just Stat and Calculus, which I pretty much slept through most, if not all, of the lesson. Hmmmm... I guess the sleeping doesn't bother too much, since I can handle the thing by myself alright. Squeezing a few weeks worth of lessons into a few days with the help of my beloved Voon-ma and hubby-Kirly makes everything possible. Too bad, I slightly underestimated the time required for practices and so on. Oh wait, that wasn't the problem, I can actualy score a lot higher for this damn paper if it weren't for my careless mistake. Oh Sheep. There's probably 5/100 gone in the MCQ and maybe even up to 30/100 gone in the last stupid question (OH WHY DIDN'T I SEE THAT EBIL NEGATIVE SIGN.). So that's like, 20/30 for that bloody paper. ouch.

Lastly, we have MKT, which I scored 21/35. T___T No idea where went wrong. But I wrote 5 essay-like answer like a mad woman in the 2 hours. Bleh.

Up next, I really need to get my Visa done asap, and get a new laptop... Hp Envy looks awesome, just as awesome as its price. So I'll just go for either Hp Pavilion Dm4 or Acer Timeline 4820... But wait, I haven't even got the green light for the idea yet...

And yeah, Comic Fiesta 2010's tomorrow, and Sunday, I'd probably be going on Sunday with my cousin, but then again, it has yet to be green-lit by my dad... Though, somehow I feel CF doesn't matter that much anymore, I don't know why. But when I try to convince myself saying that, 'it's the same, I get there, check out the Doujin booths, splurge my money over their merchandise and get back leaving my trophies dusty, what's the point?' and 'I don't cosplay or sell things, why the hell should I be there?' it just doesn't sound that convincing when the images of my fav series appearing overtook my mind.

I don't know. I feel like going, though the thought of I'm gonna get a big time if I screw up my up coming assignment old man gave me makes me retreat slightly. But it's not like I've had worse before... Right?

Bleh. We'll see how it goes on Sunday, which means I need to break my plan to him tomorrow...

Afterthoughts

I'm slacking.

I promised the Cameron posts will be up real soon.

Received my results from Lizzie on Friday morning, 11th Dec, at Penang, in my bedroom.

Macroeconomic: 91 :D
Statistics: 84.4
Management: 73

I'm happy with my Macro results, really happy.
A bit disappointed with Stat, gah, careless mistakes everywhere I knew it.
Management, totally not happy. Must be that stupid belly-guy's fault.

My estimated average for the whole program is around 75%. D:
My first sem's result (especially ACC for both sem and HCM) are the main factor...

Last sem was obviously the one with the highest average score...

Looks like scholarships gonna be tough to apply. D;

2 more posts on Cameron and it'll be over.

And if you're interested in ComicFiesta 09, you can read about it here!

C2AGE

Went to HELP college to support Hong Chun's C2AGE last Saturday. I never knew that HELP college is actually an underground labyrinth!! Cool!! Though, I wouldn't like it to be unable to see the sunlight with lots of building on top of my head! lol

Vincy and I met up with William and Weng Hoe at Will's house (which is just across the street...). Waited for Kian Min. My my... He's like my mum, 'I'll reach there in 5 minutes!' We waited for 10. He's still not there...

Never mind that.

Reaching there... William led us down the sewers tunnel subway.

Reality check.

This is Malaysia.

Not Japan.

So yeah, it wasn't really big or fancy, but it was pretty fun.

Reached there just in time to see Hong Chun giving a speech as the president (Amazing guy, president in first year). After that, a Japan Ambassador gave a speech in English, and with a lot of effort, he did it in Malay.

Amazing, in a way. Though it doesn't really matter if he couldn't speak Malay... I don't mind him speaking English at all...

And then, he sang two songs, one English and one Malay.

Impressive I must say.

Hong Chun giving his speech!!

Found Cherng, Kazu, and the gang on the stairs.

OMG. Aaron-san dancing!!! lol

Entertained by this bunch of dancers. Can't stop laughing to see that Aaron is dancing that cute dance!!! (The most famous Suzamiya Haruhi dance anyone? Or wait... Was it that...?)

And Yuen Ying was there too!!

The stage

With some of us still in our puberty, we were starving after that. (It was 12 already) And Kian Min turned up with Kin Min later. So the whole bunch of us wander along the corridor and got back to land where there is sunlight.

Seriously, deciding where to eat with more than 7 people was just freaking hard.

As we strolled down the street, fate toyed with Aaron's 'spear'. For your information, Aaron cosplayed as William T. Spears (mind you, not William Shakespeare!!) from Kuroshitsuji. Any decent cosplayer will definitely have their characters signature item with them.

The spear thing trip and fell. And one end came off unceremoniously. Haha, the culprit was horror-struck, naturally.

We ended up in Subway, with the sad broken spear following us reluctantly.

At subway!!! Ken and William, and Kin Min looking shy behind.

Ah Chung, who turned up halfway when we're looking for a decent place to eat.

A photo with most of us in!!

After lunch and blasting Subway's roof off, we headed back to the event, just in time to see some action going...

The hentai-oji from Dragonball and someone from somewhere I've seen before but couldn't recall...

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Shizuka Hio, a not-very-Kaname-looking Kaname, Zero and Aidou (well... Should be...)

That's pretty much for that time, then we got split up and got bored. So we escaped to the theatre. It was playing Toki o Kakeru Shoujo (The girl who leap through time). It was a great movie with Oku Hanako's Garnet as its ending theme. Though, it would be more pleasant if the air-con wasn't blowing directly at me...

Then, we leave the theatre and joined the 'Guess the song name and its artist and source' game.

Nooooooooooooo.

Some were familar, like Slam Dunk's OP (Ah shoot, I didn't know the name), Gun X Sword OP (I just know that song course it's just not my type...) Could have got 'Platinum' from CCS right... I just couldn't remember the name and I didn't hear Kazu mentioning the name... I want that goody bag...

And after the last bag was given out, the cosplayer chess tournament started. Aaron and the emcee were the king of both sides!! OMG. Aaron was so cool, and funny that day!! LOL

Come to think of it... If there was someone cosplaying Lelouch... Wouldn't he be the best candidate for the king!!!! LOL

We got a nice surprise when we saw Shen Yen, still very, very blur appeared. She came and before I, or we know, I was jumping onto her. Apparently, she's one of those who thinks cosplayers are scary weirdos!!! LOL

Cosplay chess!!

I think the whole cosplayers as chess pieces thing is very confusing. lol They should have label them!! Otherwise the king'll have to ask them, 'excuse me, what are you?' over and over again.

One thing your ordinary chess piece can never do, seduce your enemy!! The girl was cunning smart! She knelt before Naruto to kick him away!! And Naruto simply scratched his head and played dead. LOL

We (Vincy and William + me of course) left HELP around 4pm... The event itself wasn't that fancy, but it's really nice to see so many old faces again~

Next event, DAICON!! Daicon in July anyone!!??

Heeh... I have so many to blog about... Things are really piling up... Will try to update and finish my Perth trip soon... And noooooo... Oral next week!!!!!!!! Oh dear! What to do?! What to do??!!

Loves!

Tsubasa Shunraiki was out on the 17th. The quality was better than the TV series, which most of the fans despise due to the lousy animation, always out of shape characters and horrible graphic. Sad to say that this OAD's quality is lower than the OVA's...

*sighs*

Still, better than nothing. I'll just have to close one and half eye every time I spot something terrible coming up.

The opening... was a bit of disappointment I have to say. So they skipped the Celes and Infinity arc, which is just a bummer. I don't care about Celes, but the infinity arc was my favourite. Yes, I always fall for the Gothic theme and fighting scenes.

How I wish to see Sakura in her devilish Gothic lolita dresses... Ah, CLAMP always have wonderful designs.

But there's nothing we could do, no? So let's continue. The opening song was Sonic Boom. The name's very scientific, and yet the song was so 'springy'. The OP animation was quite pleasant, as it complements the OP music. I love the ancient China touch that was shown at first.

The battling scenes were breath-taking. Especially when they have Ohkawa directing behind the scene.

Final scene for the OP. The effects were nice.

Awesome. The background, the art, the postures. This is near perfect. The kimono is quite detail and their proportions are very CLAMP-ish.

Lol at Ashura-ou for appearing in only this scene and dies in the rest of the scenes...

Things are getting a bit out of control... Kurogane's fringe... Never mind, I see nothing... *lol* Not that bad actually for the overall...

Lalala~~ Do I think I get the pattern of the animation of the story? Both OVA and OAD have Syaoran Syaoran fighting scenes!! That makes me so happy and content despite the quality of the animation is still... (I seem to have the tendency to go lalala when I'm happy)

Syaoran and Sakura. Ah I feel so sad for both of them... T.T I hope the animation quality for the first OAD was lower than standard was due to the fact that they want to save the best for their ending... It better be.

*rofl*These two makes me laugh when they showed up... It's no wonder CLAMP design them to be brothers in this series. They're so alike. Smiling all the time...

Sakura petals spreading out. Such a lovely scenery.

A pretty up to standard Fai. Usually he looks the worst in the animation...

Fai Kick!!

Sad Sakura, I'll stop complaining about your useless-ness seeing that you're going to...

YAY!!! Clone Syaoran!! I'm quite satisfy with the overall. Especially when the quality of the animation when Syaoran/Clone Syaoran is in the scene.

The volume that comes with the OAD. The cover!!! Another double!!! X3

Gyaaaa! Sebastian figurine!! It's so cute!!!

*faints* Devil... So Adorable!!!!

Very classic. My soul won't be enough to pay this... T.T

And now, ACGC.

Hong Chun was there.

Looking cool.

It was rather small. Nothing much...

Aaron was there too.

And Davion's playing hard.

This game is cute.

The cosplayers.

And now, promotion for C2AGE.

Check it out. And tell me if you want to go. The more the merrier~
