Penang and Poppy

Ah Penang~
The land of delicious food, freedom and lots of dust and mosquitoes!!
How I love it save for the dust and buggy part....

Mum's been going to Penang for the past month quite frequently, but I never went along with her due to various upcoming-now-over exams.

Right after JLPT ended, we headed back home to grab our luggage and we're off to Penang for a special occasion:

My grandpa's 80th birthday!!!
Mmmmm~
Two cakes!!! Because he has so many kids and grandkids!!! xD

Arrived around 10+, we bustled around our room getting rid of the dust and everything. A maid ran away from home again so no one was there to clean our room. But nvm, the monkeys enjoyed wacking the hell out of the poor mattress anyway. While they they busy, I sneaked out to check out my cousins, and on my way back to our room,

I s.a.w. t.h.i.s.:
Poppy, I mean, Puppy eyes!!!!!!!!!! xDDD
The truth lies in a cat's puppy's eyes~
I can see my own reflection!!! xP

It was dark but his eyes were gleaming like stars while his tiny body was half-hidden behind a pillar~ Ooooh how I felt my heart turns into goo as I literally sprung across to cuddle to furry thing. But since it was getting late, I had to leave the most lovable thing on earth and get some sleep. Woke up next morning and continued cleaning the room.

Halfway through, the thought of Poopy was actually very dirty (under the sunlight his white fur was grey 0.o), I sneaked out and dognapped him for a nice bath. Holy sheep, the colour of the dirty water was so shocking and Poppy looked like a lamb once out of the tub!!!!

Later that night, we went to some Chinese restaurant (lol since when have I gone to any restaurant/food court that wasn't Chinese in Penang?). Food, was a tad too much for everyone. Even Poppy was able to enjoy a portion of our dinner. lol

After our overwhelming dinner, it was cake time and Ang Pau time!!! And by Ang Pau time I mean we get ang paus too!! But we don't just get the ang paus, we have to do something to get them, and the trick was to pour out some of our brain juices and give our birthday star a kiss on the cheek.

Spent the last day in Penang playing/training Poppy, shopping with my honey cousin and her friend and my sis and finally watched Rapunzel!!! Cute story was cute, and the animation was what I love the most!! It's been a while since I've last watched cartoons that are beautiful without deforming too much of its characters.

Poppy eating a Char Siew Pao!!
Sad owners of his... Nvm, dogs are tough animals, they won't die from eating too much junk food. =.=

Missing you

Bleh. Finals. 2 papers down.

But that's not the main point.

Old man just sent Potato to PAWS. T____T

It wasn't very surprising, I was counting the days and praying hard for her not to dig any more graves, chew flower pots, eat cactus and bark too much.

The prob definitely isn't just her alone. Old man himself is one bloody big mess as well. He doesn't seem to understand that dogs are not machines, not to mention that he's pure prejudice to her. (Always XiaoHuang this XiaoHuang that, meh he's an old dog already lar!)

They bark, just like my idiotic sister is a indestructible chatterbox.

They get bored, just like why my brother wants to play our PS2.

They love to run around, just like how old man loves to play his tennis.

They fear of scary things like your ugly face, just like when you're nervous or frighten, everything you do goes wrong.

They are dogs goddamnit get your fact right.
However clever they are, they are not humans. Just like thumbs-up is rude is certain cultures, hell no they don't understand you.

You don't decide to get a dog because you think it's nice to have one.

Responsibility, that's the key word here.

The bloody term you keep telling, reminding me, drilling it deep within our actions.

But that's exactly what you lack of.

If you can't abandon your kid even if they're not what you hope to be, how is it ok to give up on a dog?

Old man never learns, or perhaps he watches too much humanified animals from movies.

Lonely Potato... D;
Did you foresee your future? Was that why you're always looking so sad?

They're not a toy, they are not dispensable or disposable.

So you think you're god-like being the one to decide that you want to keep one from the wild. But the moment you pick her up, it's the moment when you are responsible for her.

You don't just dump her when you think she ain't cute anymore.
Just like you don't tell your son to get lost because he couldn't be the next PM.

That's what we called irresponsible.

Those useless, good-for-nothing, why-don't-you-just-die kind of owners I despise of.

I'm not really sure why, but I don't think digging holes or destroying pots or attacking us with cactus is that big deal. Maybe it's just me being blindly in love with the crazy bitch.

Still, I don't think that justifies their decision to get rid of her.

May you find a better owner next time.
I'm sorry that I failed you. *sobs*
T_______________T

I miss your stupid ass that can never sit still.
I miss your flabby neck where your fur is the softest. );
I miss you when I see the table where you used to wag you tail when you see me.
I miss your crazy behaviour where you'd jump around me like nuts snapping at my hand...on a second thought, I take that back. =.=

Screw Calculus, I'll pull it through somehow anyway.
I'm going back to PAWS.
I don't know when, but hopefully this Friday?
I'm not sure what to hope for, to see her still there, or to learn that she has been adopted. No doubt, the latter would be a better choice for her, let's just hope she's lucky enough.

Ps:
Those photos were taken months ago, take my word, she looks nothing like that now.

Bits and Pieces

Allergy
See the scratch marks see the scars. I'm allergic to dust mite how pathetic and it sucks to be. Should I be grateful that I'm not allergic to food? Or maybe I should be grateful that I'm not allergic to the medicine...

Boredom
All it takes to grow fungus on fungus and more fungus on the fungus growing on top of your head, which usually turns the host into an involuntary afro head. Also the cause of me vomiting blood and internal bleeding due to watching lousy anime. I was bored and that's it.

Cafe
I don't drink coffee, unless there's chocolate in it. But chocolate all the way if possible. Had a nice brunch with the creepy lawyer-to-be, the psychotic dream girl, and the guy who uses a China phone (I must say his phone looks hot but I rather not use it in case it blows up any part of my body)

Dog
Trainings and trainings. Potato (豆豆's official English name) will soon how to sing. yesyoureadmeright. She's learning 'down' right now, an achievement neither dogs or cats or hamsters or fish have done so. Soon, it'll be 'roll over'. But currently, she's no doubt going to be bald quickly due to excessive frowning. You heard read me right, she frowns, a lot, for a puppy her age.

Holiday
It's a looooooong holiday that's coming to an end faster than I know. Part of me embraces it while the other part certainly rejects it. Definitely, Uni = less time at home and more time for outings (no mistake here, but it's true in my case), but it also carries the meaning of homeworks and assignments and projects and exercises and reports and proposals and the list goes on and on to mugen and beyond.

Home
Don't bring your work home, a lot of people say. What happens when your boss lives under the same roof as yours? Life's sweet, simple as that. You get to work under him 24/7 and as long he please, no excuse, unless your customers are waiting for some export business in the loo.

Internet
There's no way I'll sleep before 12 with my laptop connected on my desk in my bedroom.

Lunch
Had a few lunch session with Bling at Baker's Cottage and Korean Street Cafe. There goes my money, all traded for her latest gossip.

Kingdom Hearts
I'm playing it again. Thanks to boredumb. Harhar. I know I should be watching the not so interesting channel 518/519 on Astro but because it's his orders that my natural immune system started resisting it. Now we shall see when I'll be screwed up for not doing so harhar isn't this exciting? It's ok, I have time, now let's finish up Chain of Memories ENG ver and I'll start the JAP ver!!!! YAY!! Miyu Irino as Sora!!!

Manga
Just got hooked up with Monochrome Factor. I ended up watching the anime, which resulted with blood vomiting and internal blood loss for countless time. And I think I'm dropping Fairy Tail, ohwatamIsaying, I've dropped it already. Same reason, all due to deformed characters and lousy script. Sadsadsad, I just don't understand why can't they learn how to do something decent and scrap those MahouShoujo transformation scenes!!!!!!!

Outings
If I count my official outing with random people I find free at the moment it's like, less than 2 times in Jan oh wait did I even make it for the 2nd time? All due to one remark hem-hem made, 'goBUplayplayandnowyouscrewupyourwork'... Ah yes, my memories certainly didn't fail me at all, it was you who questioned me for staying in house and not being active at all, heck, you even asked how long have I last seen my friends. And now you're not happy with my work and decided that I'm not worthy to go out. Life is sweet and I'm a piece of trash. Since trash don't play, I shall stay indoors so that you won't have to degrade yourself anymore, how noble of me. harppi? And if you ask me why, I'm not telling you the reason harhar.

Phone call
It was nice to hear the voice of someone over the phone, or you can put it this way, there's no way you can not smile while hearing the bullet train's crazy voice.

Restaurant City
Yes I'm still playing. With this dream design I have in my mind, I'm working very hard on it. But Playfish made me changed the plan so much with its upgraded version that I had to work harder for moar money. Sad case. Fortunately, they increased my ability to make more money for good. Phew.

Smoking
Maggi mee/Nihon mee/Korean mee for lunch, dinner, tea, and supper. Oh scrap, I forgot, it's only for lunch. If you ask me, I have totally forgotten how lunch was like when we were young. But with our amazing cooking skill, when there's no food at home (not literally duh) we eat instant noodles like white bread, which has now been replaced by wholemeal bread under hem-hem's influence due to the fear of high-blood pressure after he quits smoking. Yeah, congratulations on the determination and so on, but why did you smoke at the first place?

Wii
William never told me warm up before playing. Ebil guy. Bleh.

豆豆

Say Hi to 豆豆 (DouDou)~

Yesshe'ssoadorableIknow!!!

Never mind her sad face! xD She's just too blur to smile!!! xD

Got her on 1st of Jan when we went to Raub to celebrate my other-grandmother's birthday!!!

She was so frigging dirty when my uncle brought her home. (and I didn't notice her dirtiness at all!! Her cuteness factor turned it into a blind-spot!)

The moment we got back at home we literally soaked her in water. Eeeeek!!! omgomgomgomg!!!! The sight of the evil insects creeping in her fur was horrible!!!! And that led to more parasite-drowning ceremony and corpse-scrubbing (with a tooth-brush) ritual to be carried out.

omgomgomgomgomgomg.

It freaked me to see so many dead parasites floating on the water surface.... D:

After a long battle with the parasites that last for at least half-an-hour, 豆豆 came out smelling nice and sparkling clean~

Although there are still some bugs on her, at least she's waaaay cleaner than she was before...

Went to the pet shop on the next day to get her supply. And soaked her for another few days until we got lazy and realize whatever's left on her can't be killed through drowning...

That's it for now. Currently I'm working very hard at home doing my dad's bloody PP slides (D;) and preparing the materials for another post for 豆豆 (the preparation was tough, you'll see why soon). xD

Popcorn - In Memories

And now I miss this idiot's innocent and timid look.

It came as a shock.

Like a wave that washes you unexpectedly and retreats so fast that you didn't realize it just happened.

Then, you'd start questioning yourself, again and again like a never-ending spiral staircase towards the depth of the bottomless abyss.

"It happened? It did?"

Another way to enjoy Transformer 2, is to have your sister to call you to inform that your maid told her that her mother told the maid Popcorn was abducted by angels when you were totally absorbed into the thrilling battle scene of Bumblebee versus Megatron.

The message somehow creep out from the left ear, leaving a corrosive trail behind, melting those valiant brain soldiers that confronted it. The survivors prompted to find out more of the unknown enemy, perished immediately even though they were prepared, leaving the brain fortress they once served paralysed.

'What?'

'*beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep*'

*System crashed*

Ending the unfortunate phone call, I returned to the screen.

"Usually, at this kind of situation, people cry. Should I start crying?" The deserted brain fortress echoed hollowly while portraits of the white-but-always-black puppy crashed into the fortress out of no where.

I debated. I have yet to lose anyone who hare really close to me. The kittens lasted for two weeks, and this one month. There is some kind of hollowness, but grieve isn't overfilling the void. Nothing triggers me.

*
The puppies enjoy/enjoyed playing with each other. Sometimes they just didn't realize that they were to rough while playing, especially Muffin. So Popcorn's mouth started bleeding like hell, my mum sent her to the 'Sri Siam' vet to treat her.

The vet, let's just say I don't like the people there. They treat the pets a bit rough, and it seems like every trip to there ended so quick that I can't help to contemplate whether did the vet check them thoroughly.

Back to the clinic, the vet 'lasered' her burst blood vessel in her mouth. When I got her, I was pretty horrified at the sight of her pitiful mouth. It looked as if fire from hell just gave it a visit. The treatment wasn't cheap, and we suspect that the vet overcharged us...
But Popcorn was recovering, by the next day she started licking us, although less frequently. And her swollen eye wasn't that swollen anymore. Then, she just had to play with her sister, and got injured, again. Heez.

And she started bleeding like hell again. Heh. So we sent her to another vet, who stopped her bleeding, but had to sedate the noisy puppy first. Back at home, she continued to whine and yelp. As the vet said it's normal as her mouth felt numb, we just patted her and kept a close watch on her.

Aaaaaannd, she started bleeding, again... When we felt that she's bleeding too long, we sent her to the emergency animal hospital. Then it started raining like the night we sent the kittens there. Wow, what a coincidence. The trip, was horrible. Car-sicked, she vomited everything she ate. The foul smell of the mixture of her partially-digested food and blood nearly made me vomit.

With no choice but to get ourselves accustomed to the dreadful scent, we tried to cleaned the mess. Finally, we arrived at the hospital. The vet checked her and explained that the bleeding was due to a wound at an area where there was a blood clot. The bleeding will stop, eventually, but she didn't know when.

So we left her at the hospital, hoping that she would stop bleeding and recover fast. The next thing we know is the bloody call from the hospital.

She coughed blood and was abducted by angels.
*

My brain couldn't relate them.

Hugging Muffin and trying to squeeze her as hard as I could, I had to remind myself that the timid and quiet puppy won't be stalking me anymore. And this little devil I'm hugging is one of the main cause of it.

Life, is just so amazing, so unbelievable.

Why is it so much easier to ruin something than to create one?

Life fascinates me. What gives us these emotions, thoughts, instincts and desires?

I'm going astray. Anyway, those alive need to keep moving on. You've got to make use of everything.

And here I come,
putting another foot forward,
slowly, but definitely making progress in life.
May the angels feed you lots of heart-shape biscuits.

Puppy Love!

They've been here for at least... *racks brain*

Gah.

Just say since 16th of May.

Introducing Muffin and Popcorn. The evil puppies!!!!!!!

My dad named them 'Fifi' and 'Fefe'. But what kind of name is that??!! Secretly, we called them Popcorn and Muffin.

Both of them are female.

The white one is Popcorn, because it's white. Full name in Chinese is 爆米花,nicknamed 阿爆!! XD

The brown one is Muffin, in Chinese, 麦片!!

This evil pup loves to bully Popcorn. We have to traumatise it for doing that... Then she won't repeat it... Hohohoho...

And here's the infamous 小黄 (Xiao Huang), naive-and-always-bullied Popcron and the mighty-who-needs-a-whack-Muffin!!

Xiao Huang wasn't happy to see them, and he is still not, I suppose. Though, he seemed to have got used to them already...

Popcorn, smaller in size wasn't very cuddly. She refuses to lay still to let us cuddle her. Unlike Muffin.

It's just difficult to keep Popcorn snowy white. She'd just roll everywhere after bath and turn all sooty black again...

I'm training them to 'sit' and 'come'.

I'm thinking of training them to become pop dogs...

It's possible right...? XD

It's been so long since we had massive hole problem. Not to mention broken pots plus fly-away plants and scattered soil.

Spread the puppy love!!!!!!!!!

Bus Ride

Some boys really amazed me.

Today we met Li Wen on the bus.

It's delightful to meet someone you know on the bus. Especially if that person is a guy and he's gentleman enough to say 'do you want to seat?'. Though in most cases, the answer is 'no thanks'.

The bus wasn't exactly crowded, but I just want to talk, and unfortunately, there wasn't any seat around him back then, so I stood. Until a guy moved, and another person went down, only did the three of us sat together gossiping chatting.

And what amazed me came next.

I only remembered that I'm still troubled by a certain event that's coming up when Li Wen was going to leave the bus in like, less than one minute. And I just blurted out without a second thought.

'Can I see your wallet?'

Our jaws dropped when he just took out his wallet and passed it to me without any hesitation.

*lol*

I certainly never thought that he would let me have a look without asking anything...

Thanks anyway... And I just realize that I could just ask the boys from my college...

Here's more photos of the puppies...
Here's the cute and isolated pup I mentioned.

And here's her pink paws!!

She loves playing tug-of-war.

And this puppy is so cute and pitiful... He's like, I just want to hug onto this and sleep...

Annie and the pups!!

Washing Bathing the dogs.

And OMG... Don't do that around me...

The other dogs in the compound.

And here you go, another photo of me.

2.14

Today is Valentine's.

I spent it with my adorable friends at PAWS.

At first glance, no, first smell, it was dreadful. But I got used to it as long as the smell isn't too strong. And the puppies...

The PUPPIES!!! They made up everything!!! So adorable!!

How I wish I could lay down on a soft bed, with the puppies crawling around me~~

So first, we walked the dogs.

Annie had a Golden mix.
Priya got a 'sausage' dog. The one on the left.

As for me, I got this one... Any idea what kind of breed he is?

And I exercised early in the morning, with that dog.

Priya and her walking sausage.

Later we bath the dogs, and let them dry under the sun (thinking of dried mangoes, I really like dried mangoes, but they're always too sweet...)

Then, we had nothing to do, so we explored a bit and played with the puppies.

Simply irresistible.

Especially when they lick you. So tiny and cuddly, I felt like hugging them tightly and never let go.

And there's this pup which was isolated that got our attention. Well, it's in the center of the court and the pup is white. He, or is it a she... Oh yeah, it's a she. She enjoys playing tug-of-war. We took her out and she nibbled each of us, with her fairly pointed teeth.

*ouch*

But still, her hair was definitely the smoothest of all the dogs we stroke, and hence the isolation, she's different, probably a pure breed.

After we wander around for a bit, we were given something to do, which was to sort out the shirts and singlets of different colours and sizes for different genders. It took us quite some time. But I manage to played with another pair of puppies which was just surrendered to PAWS.

The owner bought the six-weeks-old puppies to surprise his daughter-in-law, and to found out that she's allergic to dogs... And that bloody guy didn't want to keep it for another week even though the manager told him that the pups could die coz they're too young!!

Poor puppies... T.T

All right, one rare photo of with the puppy. For their sake.

Sorting out the shirts and singlets.

And Annie, do please bring your allergic med with you, or take it before you come like I did...

Well, the whole thing was actually quite enjoyable. And now we thinking of donating some food to them, so shopping on Tuesday afternoon at Carrefour.

Anyone interested in donating a little of their money to these unfortunate pups? (Take away the smaller digits from the amounts of your Ang Pau $)

Or you could buy a PAWS sticker to stick on your car...

You could also buy the PAWS shirt you know...

Or simply come to PAWS to help them...
