A Very Late CNY post

It's now or never. And so I've finally mustered up the determination to finish this post.

Pre-CNY
Went to Sogo to shop for clothes with my mum a week before we went back to Penang! It was so crowded!! And there, I searched for my dream bag on the lowest floor. I was so disappointed that nothing suits my taste, until, it went 'kira-kira' amongst other bags!!! Whoot~ But it's so frigging expensive!!!! D: RM279!!!!

And so, I've started my bag fund, starting from my cousin!! xD It's nice to have an older cousin who's close to you~ :3 Love ya Honey~ (I'm clutching it the moment I'm typing this!!)

Went shopping in Subang Parade on the next day and bought my CNY red shirt~

Spent the next 2 days in my dad's office trying to fix the wireless router for him, but stupid thing refused to work so I returned on the 2nd day to do it and it still screamed 'epic-failure'.

Went to Atria for a hair cut on Wednesday, before the day we took off to Penang~

Was really busy on Thurs. Firstly, we took Potato to the vet for her vaccine, then we picked up my sis, packed our luggage into the car, drive to Selayang, buy the crab, and finally we're hitting the road!!!

Friday, 11th Feb
Went to a restaurant and requested the chef to murder cook the crab for us! Since it was so big that no one dare to cook it in case we screwed up.

Sea view~ Twilight!! Not that Twilight but another Twilight!! :D

We caught an Alaskan crab!!! xD
Haha. No la... We bought it from Selayang and drove this creature all the way up to Penang. It survived for 48 hours +(which should be 4 hours) in the fridge, buried in ice!!

And here we were, 'Live Long and Prosper' my brother's style, waiting for others to arrive for the feast~

The sad crab. It weighted 2kg!!!

Yummy~ It may be big in size but its meat was tender and soft~ Ah lovely lovely crab, may you rest in peace in our stomachs!!

My sis and my niece~ Sleeping in a similar fashion on our way back! LOL
除夕
Went to a restaurant to had our reunion dinner. Going out for dinner was nice, but I do miss those time where we had it at home. Everyone would help out with the tables, chairs, preparing the food, and cooking. But that was before all my cousins left the main house... D:

Boo-ya! 2 crazy aunties bullying playing with their niece.

More disappointing was, I didn't get to sit with my honey cousin. But food was decent and it was still nice to be with everyone. :)

Went back to the main house after dinner and did the usual thing. Prepare the pineapple, candles, joysticks, and etc to 'bai-bai' (not bye-bye!!). Had a lot of fun toying with the little devil's sister, who shares the same fate of being less-loved by my unbelievably 'pian xin' grandmother. I was much more fortunate compared to my other cousins as I was the second most-loved granddaughter.

After finished 'bai-bai-ng, it was time for 红包!! xD But I was busy as usual, seeing that I'm such an genius. (lol) Connected to my cousins in Canada with Skype for the technologically illiterate such as my uncle (and his wife) who refused to use Skype. lol It sure was amusing to see them staring greedily at my cousin's face on the screen.

初一
Didn't do much on that day since the Cantonese tradition forbids us to visit others on that day. So stayed at home, until my outgoing grandmother can't stand the boredom and whisked us out~

初二
Went to visit my maternal grandparents~ My bunch of maternal cousins who share the same surname as mine were there also!!

As usual, we had the contest of 'the longest wisher'. LOL So tiring for us to sing a continuous stream of wishes.

My younger cousin, the eldest among them. He shares the same ego of an elder sibling as I do. And we certainly agree on a lot of things since he's only a year younger than me. lol

Spent the whole day surfing there and reading magazines. Then we went to another relatives' house.

You don't get to eat this in Canada!!!!
Actually, this photo was taken to make my cousin in Canada to drool in front of her laptop. But I got very lazy and it never reach her. lol

初三
Went to Jusco to shop with our niece tagging along.

Evil monster is very evil and stubborn. Banyak susah nak shopping with her.

Got back in the afternoon and went to my other grandparents' apartment again!

These tress are so pretty with the yellow flowers blooming on them!! I even saw a yellow 'sakura' tree on a highway!!! It had so many flowers that I couldn't see the leaves at all!!! So pretty!!

Went back to the main house for dinner, and when we want to leave the house, the devil was still asleep. D: Waking her up and getting her out of the house was a serious pain-in-the-s. Urgh. You really can't imagine how difficult this kid is.

初四
My mum planned to leave on this day, but she too wanted to stay back and so we stayed back. xD

Cadbury Gold.
Bought a box of it from Jusco since it was heavily discounted.
It tasted nice alright. But the shape and pattern wasn't pretty as the surface doesn't look smooth, which is a disadvantage comparing to some other gold colour chocolate (who need not to worry about its appearance).

It was delicious, but not to the extent that we're addicted, so unless someone buys one for us, we won't be buying it anymore. lol

初五
Left Penang early in the morning with 4 boxes of 600cc's secret recipe in our car. Reached home around 11. Soon Lizzie arrived and we went to Sogo while my mum went to work.

Went to check out my dream bag for n times before we finally left the building and headed to the LRT station.

Had to take it since my mum is still working and obviously couldn't fetch us.

That night, went to Old Town at Taman Megah for the gathering. Finally saw KwanHanFail after almost a year!!! And at last, I got the money he owed me for a year!!!

初六
Went to Raub to visit my XiaoMi's mama, who is my grandmother as well. Met a lot of unknown relatives and got my pocket full of Ang Paus~ xD

初七 & 初八
Didn't do much except for the usual things we do on a weekend.

初九
Went to college to pay the car park fee, which was unfortunately unavailable anymore. D: I didn't know they changed the payment date... T.T

Anyway, found out this.

Annie's the rare gem to get this award which wasn't won by anyone for a few years and probably the last (seeing that UFP is no more d) to get the award for RM500 voucher!!! Annie you're amazing!!!! But why aren't you a guy!!!!

初十
A normal day which includes rotting at home surfing the net.

十一
Orientation for my Curtin Course!!!! Met a lot of people I failed to see during the 3 months break!!!

After that, went out with them for a movie at Sunway~

十二
Went to college again, to changed my CIB to BIS. The Curtin system lagged throughout the whole process. Something simple that could be finished within 15 minutes time strecthed for hours. D:

十三
It was a public holiday, so all my mother side's family went to visit another relative together. Except for the durian ice-cream buffet there, nothing interesting happened.

十四
Went shopping at Tropicana City Mall. Had lunch at.... Sorry I forgot despite being there for a number of times already... Hehe

My seafood spaghetti. Honestly, all I want to eat was the prawns. So the mussels, clams, and sotongs went to my mum's plate. :3

Oooooooooooh!!!
Pork Burger!!!!  Finally in Malaysia!!! Rejoice people!!!

十五
Last day of CNY!! Did nothing extraordinary.
1st March
End of CNY.

And this concludes my CNY for 2010~
And now,
I shall get some sleep and wake up early at 6.30 for tomorrow's class.
Good night people~

Bits and Pieces

Allergy
See the scratch marks see the scars. I'm allergic to dust mite how pathetic and it sucks to be. Should I be grateful that I'm not allergic to food? Or maybe I should be grateful that I'm not allergic to the medicine...

Boredom
All it takes to grow fungus on fungus and more fungus on the fungus growing on top of your head, which usually turns the host into an involuntary afro head. Also the cause of me vomiting blood and internal bleeding due to watching lousy anime. I was bored and that's it.

Cafe
I don't drink coffee, unless there's chocolate in it. But chocolate all the way if possible. Had a nice brunch with the creepy lawyer-to-be, the psychotic dream girl, and the guy who uses a China phone (I must say his phone looks hot but I rather not use it in case it blows up any part of my body)

Dog
Trainings and trainings. Potato (豆豆's official English name) will soon how to sing. yesyoureadmeright. She's learning 'down' right now, an achievement neither dogs or cats or hamsters or fish have done so. Soon, it'll be 'roll over'. But currently, she's no doubt going to be bald quickly due to excessive frowning. You heard read me right, she frowns, a lot, for a puppy her age.

Holiday
It's a looooooong holiday that's coming to an end faster than I know. Part of me embraces it while the other part certainly rejects it. Definitely, Uni = less time at home and more time for outings (no mistake here, but it's true in my case), but it also carries the meaning of homeworks and assignments and projects and exercises and reports and proposals and the list goes on and on to mugen and beyond.

Home
Don't bring your work home, a lot of people say. What happens when your boss lives under the same roof as yours? Life's sweet, simple as that. You get to work under him 24/7 and as long he please, no excuse, unless your customers are waiting for some export business in the loo.

Internet
There's no way I'll sleep before 12 with my laptop connected on my desk in my bedroom.

Lunch
Had a few lunch session with Bling at Baker's Cottage and Korean Street Cafe. There goes my money, all traded for her latest gossip.

Kingdom Hearts
I'm playing it again. Thanks to boredumb. Harhar. I know I should be watching the not so interesting channel 518/519 on Astro but because it's his orders that my natural immune system started resisting it. Now we shall see when I'll be screwed up for not doing so harhar isn't this exciting? It's ok, I have time, now let's finish up Chain of Memories ENG ver and I'll start the JAP ver!!!! YAY!! Miyu Irino as Sora!!!

Manga
Just got hooked up with Monochrome Factor. I ended up watching the anime, which resulted with blood vomiting and internal blood loss for countless time. And I think I'm dropping Fairy Tail, ohwatamIsaying, I've dropped it already. Same reason, all due to deformed characters and lousy script. Sadsadsad, I just don't understand why can't they learn how to do something decent and scrap those MahouShoujo transformation scenes!!!!!!!

Outings
If I count my official outing with random people I find free at the moment it's like, less than 2 times in Jan oh wait did I even make it for the 2nd time? All due to one remark hem-hem made, 'goBUplayplayandnowyouscrewupyourwork'... Ah yes, my memories certainly didn't fail me at all, it was you who questioned me for staying in house and not being active at all, heck, you even asked how long have I last seen my friends. And now you're not happy with my work and decided that I'm not worthy to go out. Life is sweet and I'm a piece of trash. Since trash don't play, I shall stay indoors so that you won't have to degrade yourself anymore, how noble of me. harppi? And if you ask me why, I'm not telling you the reason harhar.

Phone call
It was nice to hear the voice of someone over the phone, or you can put it this way, there's no way you can not smile while hearing the bullet train's crazy voice.

Restaurant City
Yes I'm still playing. With this dream design I have in my mind, I'm working very hard on it. But Playfish made me changed the plan so much with its upgraded version that I had to work harder for moar money. Sad case. Fortunately, they increased my ability to make more money for good. Phew.

Smoking
Maggi mee/Nihon mee/Korean mee for lunch, dinner, tea, and supper. Oh scrap, I forgot, it's only for lunch. If you ask me, I have totally forgotten how lunch was like when we were young. But with our amazing cooking skill, when there's no food at home (not literally duh) we eat instant noodles like white bread, which has now been replaced by wholemeal bread under hem-hem's influence due to the fear of high-blood pressure after he quits smoking. Yeah, congratulations on the determination and so on, but why did you smoke at the first place?

Wii
William never told me warm up before playing. Ebil guy. Bleh.

Afterthoughts

I'm slacking.

I promised the Cameron posts will be up real soon.

Received my results from Lizzie on Friday morning, 11th Dec, at Penang, in my bedroom.

Macroeconomic: 91 :D
Statistics: 84.4
Management: 73

I'm happy with my Macro results, really happy.
A bit disappointed with Stat, gah, careless mistakes everywhere I knew it.
Management, totally not happy. Must be that stupid belly-guy's fault.

My estimated average for the whole program is around 75%. D:
My first sem's result (especially ACC for both sem and HCM) are the main factor...

Last sem was obviously the one with the highest average score...

Looks like scholarships gonna be tough to apply. D;

2 more posts on Cameron and it'll be over.

And if you're interested in ComicFiesta 09, you can read about it here!

End of Chapter

The fabulous AK batch!!!

Photo taken by JheYee papa. Credits to her!!!

After Nursery, Primary, and Secondary, it's finally College. We're degree students now!!!!

Taken with the AK3 animals (except me and Annie) by JheYee papa again!!

Now this one was taken by me~

Eloise wasn't in any photo above. Heesh, why move house on your exam day????

Went to Midvalley with JheYee-pa, HuiVoon-ma, XiaoHuang-Chelsia, Janester, Eloise-kor, and Mr. Pay after exam.

Had Voon-ma and XiaoHuang in my car as navigator (I hate to remember direction!!!). Really enjoyed seeing Voon-ma getting very worried for her direction-less daughter. ♥

Had lunch at Oasis Food Court. I think, my mee-suah sucks, though I'm notreally sure about that. My nose was totally blocked and I'd only realised that the mee-suah wasn't really nice half-way. The Ikan Bakar was, supposedly, nice. But all I could taste was the spiciness!!! T.T

Mr. Pay joined us a while later, all of us had to wait for him to get his Ikan Bakar, really popular whey... Eloise arrived after Chelsia came to find JheYee and I who got distracted by the Gashapons. xD

Watched New Moon after that. I really must say, Edward is hideous in the movie. D: He looks way better in the posters. The movie was ok. I'm not a Twilight fan, as I'm not really into romance or a fan of sexy vampires and werewolves in a not-so-original story.

:D
Camwhored in the toilet. Yes, the toilet!!!
Mr. Pay couldn't enter (it's the ladies'!!!!), so we took it in the mirror!!!

D:
But very blur.... T.T Couldn't use flash and people were staring... lol
Thanks to a girl who immediately she exited the toilet when she found us posing to take the photo, so that we could take it~~ :3

Camwhoring at Garden. :3
Taken right before the entrance to the carpark~

I had to leave at at 4. So we walked all the way back to Garden, where I parked my car. Camwhored the whole way there.

Whooot~ Camwhoring in my car!!!
Photographer: Mr. Pay the spontaneous guy!!!

Mr. Pay's turn to sit in the car~~

Achievement of the day: we (Annie and I) hugged thrice!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, we know she loves me the most. *Annie I can see you smiling!!!*

I'm really gonna miss Annie the AK times!!! Really don't like our really-short sem 3. So little time for us to be together, especially with the AK1 guys.

What lies in our future is still unknown.

I know I'm definitely going to Curtin. So is Jane. I'm not sure about the rest, especially CerTong, TzeHorng, and Annie, who are planning to attack Monash and abandon us. ):

If only time will stop.

Holiday!

Our exam ended on last Thursday. What a relieve? Not really, not when you don't feel stressed at all.

Our final semester was like a too-boring-honeymoon.

Except for Stats, other subjects just couldn't give us the pressure we expected to be on us.

Had a lot of fun at Midvalley with you-know-who-you-are. Photos will be up late as usual, you know how hard it is for me to upload them....... ;D

Really enjoyed the Cameron trip with my mum.

Will update ASAP~~~ Is currently organizing and editing the photos!!!!!!!! xD

CrossRoads

We were here.

The Senyap sign!!!!! xD
It used to be us, lining up like idiots at the badminton court last year.
So nostalgic.

My sis phoned us this around 12.30 and blasted us with her result, 5A and 2B (well, if I must specify, all I can say they're the subjects we dreaded the most)

My brother's survival was unknown until, his mum phoned me and I met them to check the result personally.

A - Math
B - English, Science, Chinese
C - Pemahaman, Chinese
E - Penulisan

If not mistaken, that's his result. Wauw. He got an A (he had to, not that he's got a choice since I told him I'll skin him if he doesn't).

6 years ago, it was my mum and I registering. Today, it was me, my mum, and my bro; my sis was still at school performing.

Met Pn Hanim, near the gym. It was nice to see her sunny smile again. :D

It was smooth sail for my brother, and he secured his place in Taman SEA within 5 minutes, same goes to my sis of course.

Missed my sis' performance. D: Hers just ended seconds after I entered the hall. When I turned around to call my mum, the girls exited the stage and the guys came in.

Her class got 1st place, and Amber Chia gave them full mark. O.o Amazing.
Though, I don't like the fact that the boys and girls dance separately... D:

And I'd just got myself reminded that this stage is so much bigger than the one in Taman SEA...
-.-lll

Moving back to Penang. Went back last weekend to visit my grandpa who visited the hospital a few times in a month.

His lunch at home.
He just got out safely and he's happy to see us at home with him.
Looking at my aunty preparing his lunch gave me a kind of warm feeling, like, this-is-how-home-is-like kind of warmth. :3

My 外婆's Har Mee.
It's vegetarian, but the best Har Mee ever!!!!!
Full of 外婆's love and more love~
lol
I'm exaggerating.
I like to hide in go to 外婆's house, cause my dad won't be there and I have my otaku-cousin's collection to indulge. And when my younger cousin comes from next door, I get to bully play with her. :3

Don't you think this look very familiar? (hint: where would you go where you can shop and skate at the same time?)

UFP's gonna end in a week's time, exam's next week. Yes, I really need to study my subjects right now. D:

The obstacles are: my laptop, the sofa, the bed, comics, comics, and more comics.

Abstinence, is a key to success, and it's exactly what I lack of. D:
Ah well, I'll just have to think of something.

Krispy Kreme Owns Ninja

Watched Ninja yesterday.

Smuggled Krispy Kreme into the cinema, when I took it out, I could vaguely see the very sad outline of the doughnut. D:

Mistaken it for Ninja Assasin. D: *I thought they shorten the name ' Ninja Assassin' to 'Ninja', turned out I was terribly wrong*

No Rain, not that I'm obsessed about him, it's just I feel that he'd be n times better than the 'Cassey'. D:

Run away if you don't want spoilers. But there's not much to spoil anyway...

Have you watched Hercules? Ninja is similar to that.
Except that:
There's no monster, thought there's the special elixir of life that saves life (can you guess what's gonna happen?)

No ancient Greeks, but a white guy learning the art of ninja.

The fighting scene is decent. But the climax is
lame. We always know the hero will have to go through some sort of traumatising event before he can unleash his true power right? Right?

The Villain is uncool, unoriginal, and lame.
The typical low class villain must violent, angry-looking, a bit thick in the head, power-hungry, and very powerful. Remember Hades? At least he's funny with his flame hair, and his 2 followers are effective comic relief.

The Hero is uncool, unoriginal, and not hot enough. What's with the sulky face? SMILE PLEASE. Sure, you're an orphan, but wow, am I suppose to salute you for sulking for 10 years++?

The Heroine isn't bad (maybe because she's a Nihon-jin... xD), though it sucks when they made her fight and own the bad guy but
always ended being saved by who-else-do-you-think?.

The plot, if I throw my sister there, she could tell you all the possibilities and she'll get the whole story in 5 minutes.

End of the lame spoilers.

Some random photo of Ah Tong and Ah Chong!! xD

Oh, it's Friday the 13th!!! lol Wonder how's Fahrenheit now... :D

Picture Stories

Snow Ice. (9th November 2009)

I was pretty excited when I saw the Hyaku-en (aka the Hundred Yen shop)shop was under 'construction', overtaking some lot I didn't bother to know around a month ago.

The main reason is definitely this!!

How I love the ice flakes melts into my mouth, pampering my taste buds while I travel to wonderland for that moment... >.<

The Street Cafe. (15th October 2009)

Here's Amy, still so hard-working during lunch time... Apparently, a certain someone was obviously missing.

For students from the Subang area, you cannot afford not to know this a-few-months-old shop, the Street Cafe!!! (Gosh why am I advertising it for free???) The food is decent, though, avoid it if your wallet is going to die from bankruptcy...

The Stick As You Pleased Wall.

The interior design is charming and delightful. The ground floor looks ordinary, but the first floor is full of fun!! *points* Look at what one can do while waiting for food!!!
They can even print the photo for us and paste on the wall!! That, is a service we need to try out one day!!!

Together with the 'lazy-bird'.

Nestle Corn Flakes. (3rd November 2009)

Not the laptop, but the corn flakes in front of the bin. I know I'm amazing for throwing the empty box forward and making it to land upright, facing everyone.

Really, our lessons these days are getting so free... I don't feel like I'm studying right now. Feels more like we're going through a a smooth sail with very few bumps...

Occasionally (a month ago) we'd go out and eat together. But now, we're like eating together almost everyday...

Went to McD when Mr. Big Belly cancelled class with Annie, Priya, and Bling. As usual, Priya went on her sugar spree while Bling eats like a normal human as she watches her wife abusing the sugar.

Annie and I were normal (and healthy) !!! Nope, not a speck of sugar or cream sneak into our drinks, respectively coffee and tea.

Bling. (26th October 2009)

'Priya is happy,' said Bling.

'Why??'

'Look beside.'

'I see.'

Why were we in Sushi Kin? I couldn't recall. But Priya was certainly very satisfied after the meal... Priya and Bling had curry meals, as I feared, Priya wasn't used to the sweet Nihon Curry... :3

'I'm scared that I'll die.' Priya.

'Sushis don't kill Priya. You won't die from eating wasabi and weird-looking sushi.'

We need to go to eat Japanese cuisine more often. Priya has practically 0% knowledge on Japan.

Negi.(??) (25th October 2009)

Let's be honest. I'm not good at recognizing veggies. But these sure look like the one Hachune's holding.

Went to pasar with my mum in the morning at ss14. It's been so long since I last visited it. I used to go there with my mum on every Sunday morning long before I started my Ballet lesson in FAB.

Since I changed my Ballet school and Jaya was getting less attractive, we seldom went there anymore. Walking around the pasar and seeing those old faces bring back memories.

I was so young back then and now everyone I met would say to my mum, 'your daughter has really grown.' Kinda awkward though...

Dodgeball. (6th October 2009)

It's been quite some time since we last played dodgeball ever since the tournament ended. This was a game between the MAD people, Metro-peeps, and the Sunway players.

It was really fun playing with more people. And yeah, I killed WaiTat. Awesome achievement for me. It shall be a game I will never forget.

Never ever look down on a girl, you don't want to know what will happen to you.

Had another game with the Inti people. With the experienced and pros on our side (despite wearing dropping jeans, slippers, leather shoes, and formal shirt), we dominated somehow... xD

My achievement: killed a guy and saved a game.

I know I'm awesome. :D

Melon Salad. (18th October 2009)

Really, I don't eat SALAD. I don't like veggies. They're tasteless and some are bitter... But this salad my mum ordered is really cute.

Really really cute.

Went to a cafe named Indulge in Tropicana City Mall in the afternoon. The food was scrumptious (if you cover the price tag, it's the kind of place you have to bring your parents to so that they will pay the bill for you).

The decoration was really creative. I had cheese sprinkled on my spaghetti and my mum had this row of adorable melon balls with her salad.

How delightful. :3

日本语. (18th October 2009)

The Japanese class is shrinking. Maybe it's good for us, since less students=more attention to us. For me, I've been waiting for the progress to catch up with my current standard, finally I can feel some challenges in the lesson.

Though, it's nice to have my memories refreshed and to start anew.

Getting to the centre is no problem, getting back is the bigger problem. Thank god I've drove Amy and Priya around there sometimes, I was able to escape my own lost-maze without much difficulty. I think I'm using different routes to go back everytime...

As annoying as getting lost in the wild is, it's actually quite fun to roam around the ulu's area... xD

*

Will stop here. I shall update more often as soon as my already-going-back-on-track life goes back to normal.

Last Presentation!!

Finished our last presentation for this sem and the whole UFP!!!!

First time everyone wears a jacket~~~ xD *I'm never going to wear a skirt again!!!*

Sadly, the achievement lacks the 'phew' and 'wow' feeling we always get from Ms. Tina and Ms. Malini, which is exactly why Mr. James needs to be retrained!!!!!

Highlight only if you want to read my crazy ramblings on the wine belly guy. Or else just go straight to the photos~

That big belly old man crammed the whole class' presentation in one lesson. An average of 30 minutes per group. Not exactly enough especially when the computer can be unstable sometimes and we're gonna waste some time on that.

So, maybe that's not enough to condemn him to hell. Just wait, there's more. I'm not sure whether he was paying attention or not. I mean, he doesn't even laugh at the funny part! According to AK3, the group presented before we did, he toyed with his ring and sms-ed during their presentation.

I'm totally losing my respect for him.

Ok, so maybe he wants revenge on us for not paying attention + sleeping during his lecture. Come on, it's his fault for not doing his job properly! Lecturers are not supposed to read from their slides!!! Plus his slides are so un-professional!!! What's with the word-packed slides? Don't you know it's suppose to be short and simple, which screams point-forms instead of throwing the whole essay into it?

And he didn't bother to comment or ask anything and just vanished from the class room before anyone of us did! What kind of lecturer is that?

Somehow, I miss Ms. Tina and Ms. Malini. Sure, lessons with them are hell-ish, but at least we learned something through experience, unlike Mr. James, whatever he's teaching me I'm not gonna listen cause I can just memorised his messy notes.

It's really depressing to have him in our last sem. To think that everyone was so high-spirit and prepared everything nicely for the presentation, he didn't even bother to comment on it.

Lol. Ok, I won't let that dumb old man to spoil our mood.

Now, photos~~~~~

xD Annie's like some big boss!!!!! She's really cool whey~ lol Teaching CerTong Stats!!

Group pic!!! A photo of all AK girls except Ah Tong taking the photo~ (Thanks Cer~)

Fact: We all knew that Annie looks good in everything.
if only she's a guy and I'd go for him *Annie, I know you feel like hitting 'Alt+F4' buttons, but rest assure, no more weird things below*

Went to Pyramid for lunch and a mini celebration. Had fun camwhoring in the toilet~ xD Had lunch at Popeye and window shopped for a bit.

This is Becha (Lizzie). Who was well prepared and got out cautiously.

This, is Priya, who just got out of The Loo without knowing the evil plot. Lovely photo indeed.

And this concludes our uneventful (in terms of being serious with our studies) yet fun-fill (camwhore!!!!) presentation.

Celebration - Pathetic

Three cheers for the 3 stars of Orion~ :3

So this is how it feels, to be enjoying the heavenly internet connection while watching the 2 nutties' antic work behaviours in discussion room 3.

Don't worry kak/bang/evil aunty, we won't be using that room that much very soon. xD

Amy is the workaholic who enjoys the monitoring the progress of our project report like a big boss.

'You don't finish your chart you don't go home!'

Eeeek. Yes, Mistress Amy. T.T *goes back to work*

This is what happens when Amy is the leader.

Priya is the obedient one and does her work, when she's not facebooking. Always typing everything Amy mumbles *sometimes when she wasn't fast enough, she'd record it down (wonders of technology...)*

She's the typical secretary.

As for me, no doubt I'm the most fabulous team mate you can have~
I'm quiet.
I don't disturb others and stay in my digital world silently.
I work behind the scene.
I will turn up only when you need me.
I know how to use computer more efficiently than the noobs do.
I leave most of the things to you *yes, you can do it your way*. (Though, I'll interfere when I can't stand it...)
:3

I dare to say that we've spent at least 10 hours in that room working (well maybe not me) on the project.

And so our work progress calls for a celebration~

'Snow Flakes?'

'Don't want so near la~ We go Baskin Robbins~'

'Where got BR here?'

'Taipan or Subang Parade!'

'But BR expensive la... Got other places?'

'McD.'

'Don't want McD!! Ah~ There's this Dessert Bar at Subang Parade! How bout that??'

'Ok ok!! Yay!! We got Subang Parade!! Ah no wait!! How bout our laptops?'

'...........'

'Er... We can put them in my boot and take the battery with us...'

'You sure or not...? Safe meh?'

'Or you just bring along la...'

'Heavy la.'

'But safe ah?'

'How are they gonna bash up the boot?'

'......'

'We go find somewhere we can park the car in front of the shop...?'

'Where?'

'BR at Taipan?'

'............................'

'How sure are you that there's gonna be a parking lot empty in front?'

'...... Snow Flakes then...'

*never in our life did we hate our laptops so much*

We walked all the way to Snow Flake, but it was crowded, so McD for ice-cream. But it was pretty full as well so we went to Burger King. Pathetic.

Emo Amy waiting for her Ice Cream.

BK sad la. No people and the staff all so relax... The ice-cream taste like milk powder...

Very quiet at BK, until I went to buy the *freakingly* expensive Cheese Sticks.

Oh, the fun of eating the sticks were hilarious! The cheese was soooooooo sticky and elastic!!

These are the days,
that seem normal.
But they're not.
Because every second with you,
is a special moment worth remembering..

Distraction

Finished reading 猎命师传奇 during lecture and classes (ok I know I shouldn't do that).

When I first got the book, I was a bit lost and wasn't really that excited. But the moment I started reading the , I was flying in heaven~ :3

Mi Gawd! Giddens' protagonist in volume 15 is 安倍 晴明 (Abe no Seimei) the infamous 陰陽師 Onmyouji!!!!!! xD

There goes my self-constraint. Yes, my whole day was dedicated to it right afterward~ :D

It would be a lot better, if only, a certain someone would spare a bit of her time with me us. Wish she knows who I'm talking about, seriously. It just doesn't feel right.

Next, the evaluation test. I've been looking forward to it ever since I experienced Mr. James terrible (to be nice) lessons. Tomorrow shall be my big day, the day I've been waiting for so long ever since ^ incident. And I shall comment with my left hand in case he looks for me for revenge.

And now, back to finish my damn essay on 'comparing 2 Theories with 3 Assumptions'.

Interview!

Amy looks so cute and odd in formal cloths and pushing a trolley!! Wait, not just her! We're all wearing formal and shopping in Carrefour hypermarket~ lol

Wheeeeeeeeeeeee~~

Our management project is like, 70% done!!!

We're not failures~~ >:3

Went to college around 8 after fussing with the pants my mum lent me. (I realized, in horror, that they were too short for me when I put on her new court shoes, which she couldn't really wear) Got a pair of longer pants after that and rushed to college. Luckily it wasn't really jam but I got there so early... T.T Amy and Priya wasn't there yet...

Went facebooking and printed the documents needed out when the two arrive in skirts. Heeh, so I was the only one in pants. Then we rushed with our big and small bags into my car and headed off to Carrefour, and to discover that we're waaaaaaaaaaaayy too early. >.>

There's actually no need to rush Miii...

What did we do? We stayed in my car for like more than 10 minutes with me asking for the time every 2 minutes studying the questions we're going to ask and imagining all sorts of situation.

Finally! The agreed-time-to-get-out arrived and we got out. Had to go through the thermal scan again, and again, Amy failed with a shocking temperature of 38C.

Waited for some time, and had Amy re-scanned. She failed. O.o So we kinda panicked and fanned Amy. At last Amy was cool enough to pass the scan...

Got up to the 3rd floor and the evil duo made me talk to the receptionist.

'You're the one who got Carrefour so you go.'

Dang.

Spoke to the lady and she mistook us for interviewees looking for a job and wanted to make us to fill an application form. But the fabulous me explained that we were doing this for a project and saved us from the form while the lady made us to sit down and wait.

Gawd it was so awkward. There we sat, three girls wearing so formal, each clutching to her bag and a file. Oh why did those people from Carrefour who passed by had to stare at us so much???

Witnessed some interviewees got greeted by their interviewer and made a mental note, 'so that's one from the many ways of the process of an job-interview.'

Then, a guy, wearing a polo-t and jeans walked out, reading a pile of documents he was holding and scanned through the small crowd waiting at the area.

And he called out my name as he eyed us three.

Shook hands with him and he invited us to a room but we moved to his office instead as the room was booked by the lady interviewer just now.

I AM SO GOING TO GET MYSELF MY OWN COURT SHOES.

Damn. My shoes were so noisy that I had to tip-toed to silent my footsteps... D: That was so, freaking, embarrassing.....

After we settled down at the round table in his office, we started the interview.

Feelings:
-nervous
-excited
-happy (afte rall he didn't forget about us or ffk us!!)

Rizal was actually very friendly, and talked to us as if he were our lecturer, I don't think I'll mind having him as our MGT lecturer, (heesh, who cares about Mr. James!). Before we started, he even suggested that we record the whole thing before I even open my almost-stuttering-mouth. xD He explained quite a lot of things we need to know and asked us when he wasn't too sure in a friendly manner.

We are just so lucky.

Now this is what I call quality service. I shop at Carrefour so often, it's natural that Carrefour helps me in my coursework~ xD At least that's what I think.

After an hour and another 10 minutes, he gave us a brief slide show that's somehow related to our questions. (no, he didn't prepare the slide beforehand, it was one he showed during a presentation at some Uni...)

When the whole session ended, he signed our letter and we had a photo with him outside and passed him our chocolate. Thank god we got a friendly guy... :D

Oh, and I didn't realized that Friday was casual day wear everyone can wear casually to office, and dang, the three of us looked so formal.

Wow, the whole session took more than 1 hour and 40 minutes...

Our work progress bar was immediately 60% filled~ x3

Dumped our things into my car and we went shopping for groceries at Carrefour~ So convenient! :D

The sad thing was he didn't give us any vouchers as we (fine, so the other 2 didn't and it was just me) I hoped... :(

In just a morning, we felt so accomplished~

Just a little bit more to accomplish on Thursday~~ Yay!!

Letters

Been quite busy since last post.

My grandparents stayed for around 2 weeks, which means, shopping on weekends and TVs on weekdays. Got so occupied that I was too tired to update...

But they're back, with (unfortunately) my broadband modem, and, my xiao mi forgot the password for my dad's wifi...

So college's getting a little challenging with the management project right now. After so many failed follow-up calls, we finally got accepted by Carrefour~~ :3 And many thanks to me for calling and getting the interview set with my first call ever~~

Interview will be on this Friday, 10:00 am, at Level 3, Carrefour HQ~~

Now I can boast my amazing communication skill.
Kidding.

Need to get ready for it~~ Will be sending another letter to Subang Parade, again. Hopefully we get accepted too~~ lol I'm hoping to get more experience in this!

Will do my best to update some posts which are supposed to be up earlier than this. xD

Field Trip!

I don't think there's anyway we can describe how bad Mr. James is at lecturing.

After dragging for weeks, we finally made our move!

Chosen:
1. Sushi Kin
2. Carrefour
3. Subang Parade
4. Digi
5. POPULAR
6. One World Hotel
7. CIMB

Sent the first 3 permission letter by hand, second 3 by mail, and the last one is backup.

We went to the post office which is conveniently beside our college!!
Amy & Priya learned something new~
They learned how to buy stamps, send letters, and to queue at the post office... lol

After we sent the letters, we headed back to college, got the map from Googles on how to get to Sushi Kin head office, and off we go~~

It took us some time to get there...

First we go lost, so we make a turn somewhere after passing the place near CES.

Next we drove around the area until my mobile navigators found a way to get us 'found'.

After that we had to go through the 'cat road' (don't ask why is it call the 'cat road', you don't wanna know...), twice. T.T Poor kitty.

Then, we had to drive passed the 'terrible road', twice too. It was full of bumps and holes and made our teeth clatter, our heads bobbing, and our bodies shaking throughout the whole journey. *Urgh. I hate it. really, really hate it.*

Finally, after a turn at a junction we saw our destination, Can you imagine how happy we were? :D

The Building that houses the Sushi Kin HQ~~

lol

First time entering a cooperate building like this, without an adult... The parking lot was full, so the guard made us to park somewhere at a corner... Then, we had to register and let the guard to check our temperature (H1N1!)

Priya passed, I passed, but not Amy cause she was too hot~ :D So we waited for a while to let the girl to cool down first and check again. This time she passed~ :3 We checked for the map and located Sushi Kin, it was at first floor, so off we went up the stairs~

Sushi Kin's entrance was kinda cute~ With the fishies hanging on the shiny glass door and the restaurant sticker on it as well~~ :D

The interior was pretty welcoming, though that can't be sure until we are accepted for the interview...

There wasn't a receptionist so we passed the letter of permission to a lady nearest to the entrance... And these two decided to try out the sanitizer at the entrance...

'Bla-bla-bla-bla (I forgot) The HR will contact you,' she said.

Ok... We'll wait. Hopefully the one they contact is Priya or Amy... xD

One letter down!! And so we left~ That's my car~~ :P

Next stop, Carrefour!!

Although I've been there shopping zillion times with my mum before, I never knew where was the head office, until, today. The lady at the customer service informed us to go down to the basement and take the lift to reach there...

'Basement...?'

Hmmm...

Going down~ At first we just stood on the escalator, discussing about the sad location of the HQ... Then Amy started about her car ticket going to expire in less than an hour's time, we realized that it'd be faster if we walk... =.=

Squeezing through 2 closely-parked-to-each-other-car~~ Amy had no problem, but Priya ada sikit masalah... lol

In the basement, the sign guided us throughout the whole HQ searching journey... Though, why basement...? >.>lll

Finally there~ But not before another H1N1 scan before we used the lift~~ The HQ looks pretty nice inside, but I might change my opinion if they reject us... :)

Saya sihat hari ini saja. The sticker the guard gave us before we enter the HQ~
Passed the letter to the lady at the receptionist and another mission accomplished~~ :D

Last stop, Subang Parade~~ These 2 lazy bums wanted to use the tunnel cause they say it was nearer, not when we got out of it and saw that we still have to walk.

Reached Subang Parade after a short walk under the scorching sun. The one we asked for the location of the HQ at the information counter didn't know where it is and had to ask another guy to tell us.

Pathetic. Aren't you supposed to know where it is?

We went to the topmost level at the end and looked for the HQ, but all we saw was Parkson, until Amy spotted the entrance which blends with the watch shop beside it on the other side of the mall. Passed the letter to the guy with another 'we'll call you'.

All done! Wheeeeeeeee~~ In less than 2 hours~~ Oh wait, there's more! Sad sad Priya never been to a sushi restaurant before so we took her to Sushi Kin to try it~~

Big Apple donuts!! :3 While waiting for the sushi to be served, Priya and I raced to Big Apple to grab some donuts~ Lovely lovely lovely Duren duren is lovely!! :P The rest are chocolate!!

Chocolate's the best!! :3

And we're back at college around 12:30~~ That was fast! xD What a day. And now I know how to pass a letter to the HQ!
