19th Birthday ♥

Prologue
Once upon a time, there's this little turtoise named Little T who spends all day long on a car dashboard enjoy the sun whenever he can. Sadly, the weather isn't sunny everyday and Little T feels lonely having to wait in the dark for the sun to rise. So a group of evil masterminds had a fabulous idea inspired by Little T. And secretly they went on with their evil plot without alarming Little T and his mistress.

Surprises

Ok, here comes another once in a while post of mine.
As much as I want to update frequently, the lazy bones and those inspiration-drained brain cells of mine are doing a fairly good job for making me to stay away from updating...

Anyway, there's some little surprises that just has to be blog-ed.

Moving on.

On Wednesday night, our team Maestro defeated the Hyenas from Taylors by 4 - 2 (I think it's 4 - 3. But the official site says 4 - 2. An error?? What happened to the last game??).

WOW.

Of course we are strong as a team, even though we've lost to them like, err... twice? (counting the matches we had with them with Jun Hsien playing in this year and last year) Though, I think luck might had a bit to do with our victory. lol

Guess what, the magical pink shirt of mine actually works.

Superstitious you say?

I guess so.

But it was very interesting indeed that whenever I bring the pink shirt with me for a match, luck is always on our side. I'm not joking. But then again, luck can only bring one so far, so it's better not to push it too hard.

When we first fought the Hyenas, we lost and I got hit at my thigh which hurt for days. But on the next match, I so happened to wore a pink shirt for practice and brought it along. Damn. We beat the squirrels flat at 7 - 0. Look at that. Not even the Hyenas could do that. And of course, we were so darn lucky as there were quite a few lucky catches on our side. xD

For the third match, the pink shirt was there as well. We won the Vipers at er...forgotten. Finally in our re-match with the Hyenas, we beat them for the first time, with the presence of my lucky pink shirt~

ok, enough pink shirt already. Let's talk about another little surprise.

So, feeling so gleeful for the victory and relieve for finally finishing my management project, I headed to Sunway for a nice karaoke session. Oh gawd, how long has it been since I last hold a mic!!! xD

Too bad for me, Sunway's Redbox system sucks big time and my throat was kinda hoarse from cheering too much the night before. I was delighted to find that Redbox has FMAB's two ED - Ray of Light and Let It Out~ =D

Then, it just sort of happened.

Suddenly Goodbye Days went poof and the screen showed Happy Birthday.

Sooooo...

I was like, Er, what happened to my song?, 'Whose birthday is it?' and did the system go hay wired and screwed up my screen time?

And of course I knew my birthday was around the corner, but the thought of these crazy girls pulling off a surprise on me never seem to cross my mind for a bit.

Then, those who got out of the room returned, with a cake, with candles on it and smirking.

Ohohohoho.

I think I get it.

OMG I can't believe it this people did it.

I was so baffled by them.

Ahahahahahaha yes papa laugh all you like.

Then I blew the candles.

And I had to pick them out with my mouth.

But those annoying pieces of fruit s were in my way, so I had to, sort of, pick and eat them up before I could reach the candles while the sadists hold my arms and tried to smush my face into the cake which I resisted aggressively (well, that explains my sore neck the next day).

But no candle picking is complete without a cake mask.

SO YEAH THEY SMASHED MY FACE INTO THE CAKE IN THE END.

The cake looked like...*points upwards* something like that, when I got up.

There was cream in my nose. Eeeeewww.

Dunnoe how the middle-most-squashed part of cake taste like, I gave it to the highest authority since it was supposedly the best piece available.

Ahahahhaha.

Everyone had a piece of spiced cake.

Ummmm. That's my early birthday surprise.

Of course it doesn't end there. Even Lizzie is already broiling some evil plot against me. Guess what Liz, if you're still wrapping whatever you're wrapping, you can stop it now. Thank you very much, I appreciate your hard work but it's really unnecessary!!!

Heh. Nvm, whatever it is, it'll come eventually, just like my ballet exam.

Birthday Outing at the Garden

Meh. This place is full of spider webs while the other blog is so much more livelier. It's 1st June. I just don't feel like blogging my life. It's like, I'm getting tired of doing this and yet, I know I want to record down as detail as possible.

Ugh.

Went to the Garden to celebrate Chelsia and Karyn's a few-days belated birthdays. Quite stupid of us to not thought of celebrating Voon's one, which is on 3rd June together. Ah well.

We got a small room and only 3 mics for 8 persons, urgh, evil redbox refused to give us more mics... But it was an awesome K-session!!!!! Haven't been to Karaoke ever since my last outing with Cleste~ And now that Voon mentioned, 90% of the songs I chose to sing are really fast... =.=||| It's not that I only like rock and fast music but it's just that the ballad types are not in the list!!!! Ah why ah why!!!!!!

The food there, was decent. Though dunnoe where went wrong that our lunch buffet ticket became tea buffet ticket. How sad!! Good thing I had a bread from Lavender's when we were at Mid Valley. But Papa didn't. She was starving as if her energy level depends of her stomach's fullness. Awww... We laughed so much when all of us took turns to check the food when it was 3pm. Yes, hungry and desperate people coming through. Even the worker knew what we were up to when we wandered around the buffet area.

Hrmm...

Happy birthday and blah-blah-blah-blah, now let's save the birthday wishes (do you really care about me saying all those things?) and move on to the next story.

清明时节欲中暑，
墓场寻匙热呼呼。

Went 清明 yesterday. The weather was as painfully hot as usual and my sister forgot to put sunblock (she came back looking like a roast turkey), hahar.

After a long morning under the scorching sun working hard with our distant relatives, we were all relieved to retreat to our cars, far away from the blazing sun.

Except that my aunt's car key (passed to my bro, then to my mum) was missing.

And so everyone ended up scanning the whole area for the missing key. Hell no it was no easy task. Supposedly the key with a metal whistle attached to it should be shinning so brightly under the crazy sun, but no, we just weren't able to find the glittering item.

As my XiaoMi was informed to come up to Ipoh to give us the spare keys we were called back. Being me, the girl who doesn't give up easily *applauses*, I went through the route my mum took when she came up the hill as we descended.

And being me, the awesome me who's destined to save the day, I found something that looks like a whistle, with a plain looking Toyota key beneath and a black remote control beside.

At the split second, I went, 'heythatlooksalotlikethekeywe'relookingfor *since it wasn't my key I wasn't really sure*, could it be some other lost key? But how often does one come across another missing key while looking for one?'

And so I picked it up and skipped down the hill briskly, I totally forgot about the 'OH-MY-GOD-I'VE-FOUND-THE-KEY' victory scream until I've started to gain momentum as I tore across the field.

And now I've got a very good reason to make my mum to give me a full sponsorship on my handbag. xD

And that's the end of the 2 short stories.

Birthday Bash

The preparations were gruesome. I mean, you have to brainstorm to think of what to get for 6 people in (hopefully) one shopping session which might last for a whole day. It didn't turn out as we expected.

Feeling very lazy, especially *coughs coughs* never mind who, we thought of just throwing them a nice meal and that's it. But thanks to Mama, Papa, and those weirdos on my direct family side, we ended up buying presents for them.

It came with Voon's sms about ah Pay's neck tie. Then Papa's invitation for the shopping session. And after that Voon's sms about Papa's puzzle. Followed up by Bling's body mist, Annie's photo frame materials, Eloise's scarf, and Yang's T-shirt. And lastly, Annie's fully last-minute-assembled-photo frame.

Since I'm the smartest, brightest, and most brilliant of all *coughs coughs*, I had to take up the mission of getting the frame done. (I tak beh tahan seeing people like *ahem ahem* doing, must take up the mission by myself cause it's for Annie it has to be perfect.)

All hand-made!!! The cutting of the board, the anyaman-ing, the glue-sticking, the tape-sticking, the measuring, the designing, and other little stuffs. Credits to those mad women around me for giving me all sorts of weird inspirations.

Here, I do remember mentioning that Tee passed away on a very hot afternoon on 3rd of March. D: RIP May you 2 enjoy your life in heaven.

And here's the tale of the moose:

2 hungry people, well make it one hungry people and one not so hungry people, who were Priya and I, went to Baker's to enjoy our breakfast. And so Priya ordered Baker's delicious Nasi Lemak Rendang (it's just this terribly good I swear!!), I was walking around the shop, constantly staring at the moose I've been dying to eat. 

But no, the weigh master's roaring voice thundered through my inner soul and I've always forbid myself from buying the calorie bomb. And then, this wonderful thought struck me. In the end, Priya and I bought the moose to test its qualification while enjoying the lovely desert.

Lovely chocolate is lovely.

And then, we started thinking of the wild drawings we could request to be drawn on the moose. Finally, we made the orders and went back to class with a glee on our faces. 

End of the chocolatey tale.

Moving on, we had to make the reservation for 15+, which turned out to be a total of 17 people, at Korean Street Cafe, a full house~ Hurray!!! xD Now, why KSC? It's because the 1st floor's rooms were awesome and homely, and we get to take off our shoes. xD

And the day arrived at last, which I nearly couldn't come due to *ahem ahem*.

But never mind that. Went to college around 9.30 to found out that I left the second half of the wish card was left at home. How traumatising. But thanks to the Library printer for providing me free paper, we managed to signed it before the ceremony. But that would be very near the end of the party so let's skip first.

Mr. Pay was the first birthday star we met on that day, and mind you, he was on time (what a shock). After fooling around with the toys provided in the KSC, Peanut came with the moose safely tucked in the kitchen below. And so the 4 mad people continued their mad game with the wigs, toy sword, air-filled baseball bat, and the shiny bow hat.

Then CerTong arrived, Chelsia came, Amy came, Bling and Annie reached and etc... Everyone except sakai 37 and Jiri Lipas. Never minding them, we ordered our lunch and it came in a swift, the moment the 2 arrived. (Great service!)

With everyone there, I could finally gathered all the signatures and wishes on the card and finished the photo frame. Aw, too bad I couldn't sit with Annie with my secret mission going on. But I suspect that she suspected something. Hahar. Did you Annie??

And yes, we get to see this kind of spontaneous fights going around... lol

 

After our very stomach-filling meal, the KSC gave us free Korean ice-creams!!! But nobody's allowed to eat before the 6 people gave their birthday speeches!!!

Then, it was the present giving ceremony~ Hohoho!!! So many presents!!!

That's it, we're going to TGI on everyone's birthday.

Went to college to fetch Lizzie and Bling. Sadly I didn't get to give Priya the grand entrance... While waiting for Annie, Cerlyn, and Amy, we went shopping~ :) And I bought a pair of shoes~

When we arrived at TGI, the trio were already there, seating themselves at the out-most area. damn.

Ordered the Shrimp and Chicken Spaghetti. I'm hopeless for it. xD Too bad TGI don't serve the cream spaghetti I rarely eat but had a sudden craving for it that day. Veggie-girl didn't knew there were chickens hiding in the spaghetti and had some of it. xD

Dessert!! :) Mocha Latte!! Another weakness of mine, anything chocolate!! :3

Running out of time, we finished our food swiftly, and evil Annie checked me. Let's skip the embarrassing incident (except my confession to Annie and announcement of the greatness of Peanut's boobs). :D

We sped back to college and parked my car (I'm sure that's my worst parking ever). Spend the whole lecture finishing the essay I failed to do as mentioned in my previous post. :D (which gave me enough reason not to turn around to spy at the people behind me :P)

Another round of chorus echoed in the hall after the lecture and evaluation (ok, so I didn't write with my still-in-training left hand. But I can guarantee that he won't be able to recognise my well-written comment. I can write distinctive handwriting when I want~)

And then I got bombed. >.< Nya~ The Card, Puzzle, Hand-made photo frame, and Ang Paus!! >.< Inside of the card~

These 2 gave me the heaviest impact:
'HAMSTERS? TWO HAMSTERS? ROBOROVSKI HAMSTERS? DO YOU KNOW HOW FAST THEY FLEE?'

YES I WAS REALLY SHOCKED.

Nuuuuuuuuuuuuu!! What are you 2 doing to my hamstaaaars!!!!!!! Suffocating them?? Aren't you supposed to listen to Mr. Andrew during class??

The lesson was very distracted. 2 are allergic to the hamsters, while the rest squeaked at their slightest movement. Sad la you people. Afraid of 2 innocent hamsters.

My sister was elated, as if she was the one who got the hamsters and dragged me to the pet shop and get them a new home, water bottle, and a small house for them.

And wow, none of us knew you are so blur and easy to trick...

Went or my first Japanese lesson. Wow, the class was pretty quiet, the sensei didn't give us chances for interaction among ourselves... And I still don't know her name... What was taught that day was pretty refreshing and easy, since the last time I learned all the jikan and suji was like 5 years ago. Now I'll just have to wait until she move pass the basic of the basic and goes into the beginner 3 part...

Should I practice my Hiragana and Katakana...? I can recognise them wor... Lazy to write la...

Right after the class ended, my mum, whom the sensei kindly invited her to join the lesson since she has nothing to do, bought my sis and me to Sunway, after I convinced them by listing out what they could do there while I gate-crash surprise Ze Bird. Since I'm grounded, I'm looking for loopholes!!!!

'Where are you now? We just surprised her.' Came Amy's sms.

Coming, coming, coming, just wait while I look for Italiannese...

'Welcome!' Greeted the lady in uniform.

'.... I'm looking for a bunch of friends...' I informed her after scanning the ground floor for familiar faces.

'Then they're upstairs.' She answered as she pointed at the stairs.

Swiftly and silently, I moved up the stairs carefully, in case she sees me before I see her. Starting from the right side. Nope, not them, no, nope, as I finished scanning that area, I thought I was rather stupid not to have seen the party on the long table on my left, which, apparently is the only bunch of people in that section...

The surprise doesn't ends for her eh... First Vivian surprise her with her friends, then Amy gave her one, and with the fact of me unable to join her party in her mind, I surprised her...

'I thought you said you can't come?'

'I dragged my mum along.'

And I grinned at Vivian.

'Ooooh! So who's the culprit ah??'

'Huh? Whut?' We turned away.

Basically Vivian got the idea and took action, so she's the leader. Lucas and I were accomplices, dragging more people in. xD

The party was near the end already, everyone was/had eating/finished their cakes... And Marcus, surprisingly there as well, got up, and hit the lamp above him with his awesome spiky hair.

The lamp swung dangerously while everyone roared with laughter.

'I'm not going to sit there anymore,' said Marcus as he left that seat.

And here's the candle Tze Horng tried to cut into half with his fork and knife... We tend to do a lot of weird things eh... Then, Lucas, the chair, paid collected money to pay the bill...

Sem 2 Results

It was twilight, I had nightmares. Urgh.

I saw a dog in the middle of the road being ran over into 2 by a car, and the dog can still bark.
Eeeeek.
What kind of dream is that???

Woke up in the morning and found SueLing had just phoned me hours ago and Annie sms me minutes ago. Called quite a few of people to check the results, finally got Lizzie who's still there back then.

'Je Hui, for Accounts, you got 80.(something).'

*my mind went totally blank*

'80?'

'Yeah'

'80, as in 8?'

*I got 80 for Acc?? How can that be???*

'Yes.'

'As in Marcus' 8?'

'yeah'

'I got 80 for Accounts?'

*why is the sky not falling?*

'Oh sorry!! That's English!'

'...............'

*Now I know why*

'Oh, ok. Then Accounts????'

'You got 65 (something like that).'

*phew, I passed*

'Sure?'

'Yeah.'

'Then, Business Communication you got 80.(something again), Moral 75 (not sure), and Math 91.'

So that's like 4 High Distinction (if the numbers above are correct and I didn't get anything wrong), and one credit (I'm fine with that).

Urgh, math. It can seriously be higher than that. Possibly a 95... If only I didn't make that stupid blunder... T.T *self-loathes*

Enough self-loathing... It's time to truly enjoy my remaining holiday!! xD

It just happened like any normal Wednesday. The anticipation wasn't that great because Cerlyn KNEW!!! Gah.

Amy didn't even bother to cover up the card properly...

Birthday song burst only after Moral Studies ended like a squashed orange.

I really love our AK batch. It may be puny, not even bigger than a class of students back in Taman SEA (imagine that, that's how big the January intake is), but we feel like a family together!!!

Ms Malini noticed how united we are~~ And with love we stick together, we're invincible!!! XD

A lot is happening, but I feel so tired everyday that I couldn't bring myself to blog. Still, blogging clears my mind. It gets less cluttered and less stressed.

Double-crossing

So it's been another busy week. It just passed so fast.

It's like you enjoy dancing in the ballroom so much that you didn't notice the hands of the clock sneaking their way to 12.

By the time you're back to reality, you realize that one of your glass shoe is missing in the past.

Planning a surprise is very exciting.

I absolutely love that.

Happy Birthday to Pornya Priya. And to Karyn, whose birthday was weeks ago...

It was tiring.

Running up and down, racking our brains, panicking over Cer's unusual and obvious act, whispering among ourselves and signalling each other with every type of communication channel we could use.

We kept changing our plan. I love our final plan, we double-crossed the birthday girls!!

Morning arrived early that day. Eliz and Amy spoilt the plan a bit by saying Happy Birthday to Priya. All I could do was to pretend that I totally forgot about it and offered her a luxurious nail painting session, which she denied, sadly. Later on, BCM started and I told Priya to sit between me and Karyn so that I could draw her card.

Priya's POV: We're celebrating Karyn's Birthday. Not mine.

Whenever Priya was out of earshot, Karyn would join in to discuss about the plan.

Karyn's POV: We'll be surprising Priya!! Hehe!

When both are out of earshot, we discussed about the whole plan.

The end result was:

I asked Priya to take Karyn to the lady's after BCM lecture so we could prepare her Lollipop plushie. Then, I asked Karyn to take Priya to the lady's so we could prepare her Bear.

Priya's POV:I'll have to keep Karyn in the toilet until they're ready.
Karyn's POV: I'll have to keep Priya in the toilet until they're ready.

And so, after the lecture ended, I lied that my camera was in my car and I'd have to hop down to grab it while Cer decided to tag along. By the time we got the presents, Karyn and Priya were in the toilet brainstorming to keep each other in the toilet. Along with them were Annie and Eliz, to make sure they don't come out.

I don't suppose that was hard, as both parties wanted to loiter in the toilet so much that there's simply no need for our accomplices to keep them in. XD

I wish I was there to watch the fun...

So the boys in class fumbled to set up the muffins we used as cakes, cleared the tables, and so on. The candles were lit and Cer ran out to call the toilet dwellers. But Tze Horng freaked out everyone when he put out the candles as he feared that the candles are goners by the time everyone arrive.

So we had to stop them coming before Jiri lit the candles again.

*screams, squeals, shrieks, cries*

Eliz: Oooohhh!! Nooooooo!! Wait Priya!!! I drop something!!!
Priya: What? Where?
Eliz: In the toilet!! It's my..... my PHONE!!

And there went Eliz yelling that she drop her phone in the toilet and stormed everyone back to look for it. Clearly, that wasn't a very good excuse... LOL

*screams, squeals, shrieks, cries*

And there went Cer and I shouting at the top of our voice that whatever she's looking for was in class. Everyone scurried in to their places and burst into a birthday chorus when Priya entered the classroom.

She squealed in astonishment. Seems like she didn't suspect anything at all... Evern with Cer's pretty obvious behaviour such as yelling to people who aren't in her group that her group is having a meeting in the library and etc... ROFL

Then she blew the candles, probably wishing that David would kiss her... Then, we pop up another song for Karyn, which surprised her as well... And we stuffed the Lollipop into her mouth.

So much for a morning.

Went to Sunway to watch 17 Again after all the birthday hassle ended...

17 Again is pretty enjoyable. Though, I would prefer to sit somewhere higher so I wouldn't have to strained my neck...

I know it's late.

But HAPPY BELATED (here) BIRTHDAY to HUI VOON~~

We sang happy birthday to her in the lecture hall, when it's almost empty after the AL batch left.

Anyway... I went to Marco's Pizza twice. First time with Vincy and WanHui. Second time with Eliz.

The bacon pizza was pretty hard. I can almost hear my teeth crumbling when I muster my strength to chew the bacons on the pizza.

And we had this 'campaign' going on during Malaysian Studies. And of course the girls won. Idiots Boys like Marcus don't stand a chance.

We sang in the lecture hall for Annie. We really did. I think I'm getting wilder and wilder...

Preparing the celebration was absolutely tiring. Especially when you got 6 peoples in a row. Eliz and I searched through The Curve and Ikano the whole afternoon, looking up and down, in and out for the presents.

And collecting the money was another headache. Unlike me, who knows all 6 of the birthday stars, I need to organise and group the 'sponsors' together, then collect from them separately...

On that day, we need to buy the cake, gather the birthday peoples, make sure they turn up...

Those were easy, the harder part was keeping the secret. I had to involve some of the stars, like Sue Ling, who knew every plan except for her own present, Jhe Yee who got involved with Eloise and Tze Horng's but knew nothing about hers...

That was very tough. But fun in a way, seeing them wandering in where they think the light is. I enjoy manipulating others. Must be influenced by 楼下的房客.

Anyway, changed my skin, might change it after my final exam, or after my trip to Perth. A very light-coloured and cheerful one this time, which is what I wish my life to be right now.

Exam's coming up, I'm going to retake the stupid circuit test on Tue, and Marcus better behaves or else I'm going to flare up.
