I'm late >.<

As the tittle says, I'm late!!!!! D:

While others greeted 2010 and looked back at 2009 reminiscing those memorable times, I'm still here.

But wow, it's been a busy month for me.

I've been travelling North and South visiting my grandparents, celebrating birthdays, and shopping helping out at my aunt's restaurant 600cc, and not to mention working for my dad (maybe I should have pretend that I can't use Photoshop at all... ). xD

Brought my pair of monkeys to Taman SEA to get their exercise books. All the cars were taken and so I used my dad's new (to him) 8-year-old Merce...

How I love my old Honda. Merce is meant for BIG people with BIG hands, BIG foot, LONG legs, and a BIG wallet to pay for accidents bill. Never again do I want to touch that car again!!!!!!! The pedal was too BIG, the seat was too BIG, my foot was too small and not to mention I have short legs and RIP for me if I scratch it... D:

And naturally, the back doors were always not opened, so I had to drive all the way in front. With the beloved Ministry had to release the PMR result early (unknown to me since JiaLe told me it'd be on the 28th) and the frantic students+parents all waiting, I drove all the way to the back gate... D:

Sad people, these students had to wear uniforms to get their result. Tsk tsk. Pure sadness. Thank god our time was over!!

Went back to Penang for another weekend the next day and celebrated Xmas with Vincy~~ ♥

The Penang Bridge got expanded!! It now had 3 lanes on both sides!!! No more terrible fruit jams!!

Drove all the way to Penang island for the meetings!!! Luckily my mum had some business to do and I was able to meet Vincy~

Me and Vincy!!!

lol The wind was so strong that our hair were messed up!!! Vincy took a few shots but the rest weren't that nice at all!!! xD She needs to practice harder!!!

Went walking around the little shopping mall opposite of Adventist Hospital and we had ice-creams at McD together~

Wonder how many people sneeze when we chatted!! :3 The weirdest topics were probably those about gays/lesbians/my confession to Annie~ LOL

The next night we celebrated my Ah Gong's Birthday together with my paternal grandparents and the Queen of Chaos!!!

Got up real early in the morning again to get back to PJ for our Japanese lesson...

Spent the rest of the week working at home and that's pretty much how my 2009 ended...

Will update real soon about my current status with the new and heart-meltingly adorable and blur-blur puppy!!! ♥

Cameron - Corns

Meiko and where's the sake??
It's Pasar Malam!!!!!

My mum and I went shopping at the pasar malam in Cameron!!

We planned to go on the night before, but we were all wore out and it was scary (to me at least) when it was dark in the mountain... >.<>illegally at the police's apartment... But we were very lucky to spotted a car leaving near the pasar!! :3

Short walking distance= good parking spot :D

Giant leeks!!!!!!!!!!

Almost all the greens/plants/flowers there are huge. But the price weren't as cheap as we thought. It's still cheaper though, seeing that it's a tourist hotspot we supposed that's why the price was still kinda high considering that transport fee should be excluded.

There were veges, flowers, jackets (the weather was cool and cold at night, naturally ), strawberries phone straps, dried strawberries, corns, fresh strawberries, toys, and more strawberries plushies all around the pasar malam.

KFC at Cameron!!!

We left the market with bags (literally) of corns, some in our backpacks and some in plastics bags, some veges and some steamed corns (again!!).

By the time we got back from the night market driving through the dark, dark streets, these people at home had started a cackling fire!!!

:D

A fire at home in Malaysia!!!! Wheeeeeeeeeeeee~~ FASCINATING!!! xD

The aunties and uncles were the ones who started the idea!!! Haha.
They even moved the Mahjong table into the living room from the other room since it was so cozy there~

And...... This is how it looked when the fired died...

Went to bed early that night (after having corns for supper) since we had to wake up eeeaaaarly in the morning to get our Japanese class.

Woke up around 6 and started packing our things, and not forgetting the last-minute photo spamming spree~~~

From the nearest in clockise: our wardrobe key, room key, and bathroom key!!

The four of us (me, my mum, sis, and bro) shared 2 rooms and a bathroom, me and my sis, my mum and my bro. Our rooms were connected by the bathroom and only one side of the bathroom has a bolt while my side needs to be locked with a key.

Love the keys!!! It's so antique and Kingdom Hearts-ish!!!

The key hole of my room door to the living room!!! In ancient times and movies/novels/animes, you can peek into the other side the key hole!!! And so we tried it out~ Not much can be seen but still we could see something!!

It was so fun taking bath when it's cold! We got to see the bathroom getting misty~

My room!!!

The bed was soft~ The blanket was warm, only after I snuggled inside to warm it up... And believe it or not, we brought our own pillows and blankets!! Our blankets get warm faster so I covered myself with my own blanket before pulling up the thick and heavy one on the bed!

The temperature was cold at night and the blanket was just right for us! It feels good to snuggle inside my warm bed when it's cold~

This is where our housekeeper lives with her family + Blacky, right in front of our house!!

The living room with the fireplace!!

The other side of the living room!! The bright light over there is the entrance!!

The dining area!!

Where we had all our great dinners!!

The Mahjong/Ping Pong area!! So bright so pretty in the morning!! But it was rather scary at night when the surroundings was dark and we couldn't see anything from inside...

The view from upstairs!!! My mum's friends left before we did (those hungry people will do anything to get to Ipoh to get a good breakfast) so we went up to the rooms they used~

Front view of our house!!

The narrow road leading to our bungalow!
Taken while we drove down...

Group photo before we left Cameron!!

And this concludes our trip to Cameron this year!!!

Afterthoughts

I'm slacking.

I promised the Cameron posts will be up real soon.

Received my results from Lizzie on Friday morning, 11th Dec, at Penang, in my bedroom.

Macroeconomic: 91 :D
Statistics: 84.4
Management: 73

I'm happy with my Macro results, really happy.
A bit disappointed with Stat, gah, careless mistakes everywhere I knew it.
Management, totally not happy. Must be that stupid belly-guy's fault.

My estimated average for the whole program is around 75%. D:
My first sem's result (especially ACC for both sem and HCM) are the main factor...

Last sem was obviously the one with the highest average score...

Looks like scholarships gonna be tough to apply. D;

2 more posts on Cameron and it'll be over.

And if you're interested in ComicFiesta 09, you can read about it here!

Cameron - Strawberries!

Obviously, I didn't make it. Currently staying at my grandma's house in Penang, a lot's going on so yeah, I lack the time to update.

*

Continuing from the last post.

Unpacked our things and bathed after we left the Boh Tea Plantation. After we explored the house, we found a table tennis table and we had some fun playing with the kids.

It was nice to play ping-pong again *remembers the table tennis table collecting dust upstairs*. I could almost hear my rusty skill getting smoother after a few rounds.

Then, it was time for dinner.

Steamboat.

The Yong Tau Fu was delicious. Did I mentioned that we have a housekeeper who cooks our meal upon request? :3 (for a wild moment when my mum mentioned a housekeeper, the word 'butler' flashed across my mind, I know I'm not totally sane.)

The steamboat dinner was more like a buffet. We come to the table when the food of our choice was on and go as we pleased, freedom.

After the satisfying meal, we played ping pong and monopoly (my sis and the kids played the one we bought it along), watched Kara no Kyoukai on my laptop(finally after I've downloaded for so long, and oh my, TokyoTosho didn't mention that it's supposed to be 18sg...) and had cup-mee as supper.

Breakfast!

Fried egg, sausages, bacons, and toast. Simple but nice. :D

I'm not a fan of jams, but they say the strawberry jam made by Madam Ng (our housekeeper) was delicious. With my nose blocked and lack of jam-eating experience I couldn't tell how good it was.

And yeah, I had a photo-spamming session early in the morning.

The tree at the back yard.

The Bungalow~~
It looks ancient. And it has a chimney too~

Our housekeeper has a dog called Blacky~~
Actually, we had an encounter with a dog who look like Muffin the day before when we're moving our luggage into our house. Doesn't look like a stray to me since she looks plump...

Chased Blacky around the Bungalow for a bit and got our shoes all muddy. D:

After breakfast, we took off and visited Strawberry farm~

Saw this 'thing' at the farm. Wonder what it is?
Weasel? Not squirrel for sure.

Rows and rows of Strawberry plants.

One basket of strawberries (1kg) is about RM35. We went on a Strawberry hunt right after we got our basket.

Strawberries!!! :3

With years of Strawberry eating experience, we chose only the most beautiful strawberries in the farm~

Our basket of strawberries~

Left the strawberry farm after we finished discussing our plans in the afternoon and we went straight to the market~

Cameron is seriously obsessed with strawberries. There are strawberries everywhere...

Spent quite some time at the market. Seriously, the flowers there were gorgeous! And yeah, not forgetting the strawberries, they have strawberry pillows, strawberry phone straps, dried strawberry, strawberry juice, strawberry ice-cream, strawberry chocolate, strawberry cake, strawberry hot dog, strawberry jam, strawberry umbrella, and etc...

Didn't shop much after my inner heart went through a serious debate with my brain.

'I shall not buy things that are no use to me,' screamed the brain.
'But it looks nice/cute/delicious/interesting!' my heart whined.
'Yeah, for now. Think of the money! And what am I gonna do when I finally snap out of it?' *remembers the pile of mess that growing larger and larger in the room* My brain gave the final blow.
'True.' My heart gave in.

Our lunch: Head on the table seafood, chicken, vege, and some other stuff.

This is Andrea's head. Snapped this photo when she look like her head was placed on the table. lol She's really cute!!

Believe it or not.
We had fish on the mountain. :D
Smart!

After lunch, we went to another side of the Boh Tea Plnatation with rumours saying that it has a better view.

The Boh Tea Plantation!

The trip to the plantation was rather long with the winding mountain roads, it was quite fun to horn everytime we reach the corner to announce our arrival to the incoming cars.

The plantaion!!
Jammed.
The road was blocked, my mum said. With the road having the width of 2 cars, cars coming up and down the mountain, and stupid people who parked their cars on the road side with no consideration, everyone got stuck.

Lovely.

There wasn't enough space to reverse or to go back since the road was blocked by incoming cars... What a bummer.

As time passed by with no one getting any where, my wonderful mum stepped out and started instructing drivers to shift their cars to make way to end the jam. Slowly, some cars reversed and some shifted forward and sideways, and the road was cleared!!

Took us quite some time before it was our turn to get down.

It was horrible to be stuck on a mountain road, but the view was really splendid. Was it better than the previous plantation? Probably, if only I could get up to the view point... D:

With our trip to the plantation ruined, the aunties and uncles decided to go yam-cha, again. Really, I don't get it. How can these aunties keep on yam-chaing??

My mum's the lazy one, she prefers to let others to organize the activities, 'it's to bothersome,' she said. Quite true, I supposed.

Since it was drizzling and the aunties really want to go yam-cha, we went to this 5-star hotel. Skipping the tea which I couldn't tell the taste, I absolutely love the desserts!

See the pyramid shape chocolate cake? It's the most delicious chocolate cake I've ever had in my entire life. And the other chocolate cake behind? I thought it was the best until the pyramid defeated it.

Our snack. If only Sebastian was there to serve. :D

Went cam-whoring after a while. The hotel wasn't really big, but the design was nice.

Took this outside the hotel~ Yes, Andrea again. She's really adorable.

By the time the adults (I'm just an adolescent I don't care.) are finished with their teas, we left the hotel and headed back to our bungalow.

Ping Pong again!!! After we bathed (lol). Not a very smart move, but the weather was really cool, and we didn't sweat much, in fact, my nose got unblocked after playing a few rounds with my brother.

Dinner was roast chicken, lamb steak, potatoes, and salad. It was a lovely meal! :3

As for dessert? Strawberries!! We didn't go all the way to the farm for nothing! :D

To be continued.

Cameron - Tea

Woke up around 7:30 and stuffed all our pillows (yep, pillows) into my mum's car. It wasn't after 9 did we left our house, and we're supposed to meet my mum's friends at Sg Buloh at 9:30.

We reached there on time. Whoot.

But her friends were no where to be seen.

Turned out that one family overslept while the other bunch was stuck in some traffic jam.

After we finished exploring the 'perhentian jambatan', one family arrived and we continued our journey. What about the others? No worries, they planned to meet up at Bidor around noon.

Stopped at Bidor before noon to have brunch.

The Duck Noodle was really famous, however, we ordered something else instead as the waitress informed us that it won't be ready before 12.

But, it just happened to arrived around 11:30. We ordered a bowl of duck in soup just to have a taste of it. Even with my blocked nose I could smell the strong scent of ginger in the soup. Couldn't really tell whether it's good or not since I'm not fit enough to judge it...

Cameron!!!
Had our break at a teashop before we reach our bungalow.

It was real fun going up the mountain. I really enjoyed eyeing at the thermometer (the one on the screen in my mum's car) gradually going lower and lower. We opened the window when it reached 25.

The air was really cooling, sadly, my nose was blocked and I couldn't smell the Cameron air... Though, we had to close all the windows when it starting drizzling.

At Cameron, it rains almost everyday in the afternoon-evening.

It'd stopped raining and the scenery was pleasant. But it was wet so we were lazy to get into the green.

Mai Borather!!!!
Taken at the first floor of the shop.
The view there was pretty, but there were a lot of flies. D:

Sipping tea under a roof of morning glories~~

Tried all sorts of tea. Strawberry tea, Lychee, and some others.

Bah. I couldn't smell the tea... So I went camwhoring around the place~

The weather was cool, and a bit cold sometimes. But I was alright with it with my jacket on the shoulder, though, my nose disagreed with it. D:

The corner of the teashop~

Had a piece of chocolate cake with my sis there, but we forgot to take its photo!!! ):

No, it's not the cake we had at the tea shop. And yes, I had 2 slices of Chocolate cakes in a day~ :3

We left the tea shop and arrived at our bungalow shortly after we left the tea shop.

Went to Boh Tea Plantation after we left our stuffs at the bungalow.

My sister and brother holding each other lovingly.
What you see is just an illusion.
Brutal mental force is need to force them to get into this position.
One second earlier they looked murderous but under my purifying stare their murderous intention faded in a flash and they smiled like a sunny side up. :D
I know, I'm amazing. :3

The view of the tea shop at Boh Tea Plantation~
The Boh Tea Shop is on the left~

There's a view point where we'd have to climb all the way up to have a view of the plantation.

And so we climbed.

On top of the view point there's this small hill that we could get up by the stairs.

The girls, Racheal and Andrea are my mum's friends' daughters. Andrea is the nice-to-bully one, her sister is a bit more prideful...

Posing on the view point, in front of the small 'hill'. xD

The grass was a bit muddy and there were puddles of water, naturally we hopped around avoiding the puddles.

It's not a tree, but a tiang with wild plants growing on it.

The land of mist. We had to leave the view point when it started to get misty. ):

If it weren't for the adults, I wouldn't mind staying on top. It looks fascinating to be in the middle of the mist/fog. Like a fairytale. :D

But down we go~

I hate going down the hills/mountains/stairs. I'm always scared that I'll slip...
And my camera battery was failing me, so my backup, Hikaru turned up instead. xD

My mum~~~~

Camwhoring + Moving cautiously = being the last one.

In front of the Boh tea shop~

Took quite a lot of photos of the flowers at there, I'll make a separate post for them, otherwise it's going to lag the page a lot...

More will be up real soon, hopefully I can make it in time by tomorrow~ :D
