Popcorn - In Memories

And now I miss this idiot's innocent and timid look.

It came as a shock.

Like a wave that washes you unexpectedly and retreats so fast that you didn't realize it just happened.

Then, you'd start questioning yourself, again and again like a never-ending spiral staircase towards the depth of the bottomless abyss.

"It happened? It did?"

Another way to enjoy Transformer 2, is to have your sister to call you to inform that your maid told her that her mother told the maid Popcorn was abducted by angels when you were totally absorbed into the thrilling battle scene of Bumblebee versus Megatron.

The message somehow creep out from the left ear, leaving a corrosive trail behind, melting those valiant brain soldiers that confronted it. The survivors prompted to find out more of the unknown enemy, perished immediately even though they were prepared, leaving the brain fortress they once served paralysed.

'What?'

'*beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep*'

*System crashed*

Ending the unfortunate phone call, I returned to the screen.

"Usually, at this kind of situation, people cry. Should I start crying?" The deserted brain fortress echoed hollowly while portraits of the white-but-always-black puppy crashed into the fortress out of no where.

I debated. I have yet to lose anyone who hare really close to me. The kittens lasted for two weeks, and this one month. There is some kind of hollowness, but grieve isn't overfilling the void. Nothing triggers me.

*
The puppies enjoy/enjoyed playing with each other. Sometimes they just didn't realize that they were to rough while playing, especially Muffin. So Popcorn's mouth started bleeding like hell, my mum sent her to the 'Sri Siam' vet to treat her.

The vet, let's just say I don't like the people there. They treat the pets a bit rough, and it seems like every trip to there ended so quick that I can't help to contemplate whether did the vet check them thoroughly.

Back to the clinic, the vet 'lasered' her burst blood vessel in her mouth. When I got her, I was pretty horrified at the sight of her pitiful mouth. It looked as if fire from hell just gave it a visit. The treatment wasn't cheap, and we suspect that the vet overcharged us...
But Popcorn was recovering, by the next day she started licking us, although less frequently. And her swollen eye wasn't that swollen anymore. Then, she just had to play with her sister, and got injured, again. Heez.

And she started bleeding like hell again. Heh. So we sent her to another vet, who stopped her bleeding, but had to sedate the noisy puppy first. Back at home, she continued to whine and yelp. As the vet said it's normal as her mouth felt numb, we just patted her and kept a close watch on her.

Aaaaaannd, she started bleeding, again... When we felt that she's bleeding too long, we sent her to the emergency animal hospital. Then it started raining like the night we sent the kittens there. Wow, what a coincidence. The trip, was horrible. Car-sicked, she vomited everything she ate. The foul smell of the mixture of her partially-digested food and blood nearly made me vomit.

With no choice but to get ourselves accustomed to the dreadful scent, we tried to cleaned the mess. Finally, we arrived at the hospital. The vet checked her and explained that the bleeding was due to a wound at an area where there was a blood clot. The bleeding will stop, eventually, but she didn't know when.

So we left her at the hospital, hoping that she would stop bleeding and recover fast. The next thing we know is the bloody call from the hospital.

She coughed blood and was abducted by angels.
*

My brain couldn't relate them.

Hugging Muffin and trying to squeeze her as hard as I could, I had to remind myself that the timid and quiet puppy won't be stalking me anymore. And this little devil I'm hugging is one of the main cause of it.

Life, is just so amazing, so unbelievable.

Why is it so much easier to ruin something than to create one?

Life fascinates me. What gives us these emotions, thoughts, instincts and desires?

I'm going astray. Anyway, those alive need to keep moving on. You've got to make use of everything.

And here I come,
putting another foot forward,
slowly, but definitely making progress in life.
May the angels feed you lots of heart-shape biscuits.

Dodge it

I'm slacking.

Lack of sleep. Mostly due to my bad habit of failing to sleep at normal time when I don't have to get up early the next morning. Must change... I've been sleeping through most of the lessons this week... XD

I thought I could get an early sleep on Monday. Unexpectedly, it was totally ruined as Eliz dragged me into the dodge ball whirlpool.

I was bewildered to heard that the competition is to be held at Cineleisure... Cineleisure? HUH? Tze Horng, the good driver guaranteed to be late everytime, arrived 15 minutes late in front of my house with Su Yang. He sped of to Eliz's house to pick her.

We hop off his car after he entered the basement parking with Su Yang leading us to visualise my imaginary dodge ball court. I could practically feel my jaw plummeted to the floor with a thud as we arrived.

I don't mind playing in front of people. I don't. After all, I've participated in at least two concerts with around 300 audience staring at me.

However, I do mind playing in front of a camera.

WHAT IS THIS?

No one told us it was this serious.

At the entrance of Cineleisure, a court was set up, secured with some kind of make-shift net to protect the audience, and completed with the people in charge and camera crews.

People were gathering around it, some watching and some cheering. And Omg, there were cheerleaders too... Looking around, we wondered where were our cheerleaders...

The thing I had to subdue my urge to smash was the "crane-camera". It was swinging above our heads, focusing on the match and occasionally catching us during a short break. And no, seems like one big floating camera was not enough, it had to be completed with several camera men and an well-equipped interview group outside the entrance.

We waited outside for our so-called team mates to come. Haha, why the hell are we waiting for them? Shouldn't it be the other way round? They need girl, at least one girl, which makes either me or Eliz VIP, and yet, why are the VIPs waiting for the NIPs?

Aamos arrived and we got our ugly fugly monstrous hideous jersey from him. We realised that it could be seen-through and we wore it with our shirt. As our team assembled, with someone some boys taking their sweet time changing and moving back to us, it was our turn.

Eliz joined the first game, I the second and the last. To make it worst, they need a spokesperson. Naturally, the one not playing is the spokesperson.

bloody hell

And there I went, holding the mic introducing myself, in front of the crowd, and the stupid camera.

Thank god I'm next.

The first game, everyone was out, except Aamos, who was doing a dance-like evading move to dodge the opponents' balls. I must say he was so cool. He looked like he was dancing hip-hop instead of dodging the balls. But... With only himself in, he was eventually out.

The second game, I was in. oh shit We got our balls. The boys started shooting them at the opponents with not much success hits. Poor Su Yang was out pretty fast, I lost track of other team mates.

Ok, pause for a bit. I played dodge ball before, at school, with Pn Kwang. But that was what you call once upon a time. The rules were pretty much forgotten. Not to mention it wasn't a proper game. We used volleyballs as the soft balls we're supposed to use. How much can one learn from a game like that?

Continue. As I evaded some balls, seriously, I don't think anyone tried to hit me at all, they were aiming for the guys with brutal force, and I just so happened to be there. Seeing the not-united boys were pretty busy and some balls rolling around, I actually stepped out of the white box I was supposed to be in to pick them up.

A refree sort of guy saw me doing that. By right, I should be out. But he seemed to have register that I was, am, a noob, he just warned me quietly. By the time my head was back to the game, almost everyone was out.

And pretty soon, I was the last one standing.

So you'd think the last one standing sounds cool. Like, 'wow, you must be good!' Ha. I felt so incredulous. oh shit I'm not strong enough to throw the ball!!!!! And the thought of getting rid of all the opponents in front of me was like mission impossible.

Seriously.

I was out by throwing just one ball. lol A guy caught it. The end.

The third game. Was slightly better as I adjusted myself. Still, to my horror, I realised what is so wrong with our team. We had no plans, and worst, we're not even united.

What a team.

There we fought, with Marcus holding two balls in his huge hands, balls were overflowing in our court. I was holding one not knowing what to do. It was so awkward. I was the last standing, again. 'Oh shit,' I said again to myself.

But I was out before I even throw a ball. Not that the opponent hit me with one, simply because I trod on the white line. Now I know.

Heez, we lost with a record of 0-3. Amazing. Simply fabulous. We even thought of breaking the record. The record of losing every game.

Sitting outside, we drank our 7up sponsored by probably 7 up, the interview crew wanted an interview with us. oh shit And they said it would be live later on.

Basically, we fooled around quite a bit, the crews staring at us with an incredulous look. I don't feel like putting details here.

Maybe just this part:

Crew: Where are you (the whole team) from?
Marcus: Oh, I'm Marcus. I'm from Malaysia. It's my first time playing.

*Oh great, did anyone asked for your personal details??*

Generally, we're not united. A lot of things that had to be answered in the interview
required teamwork, which we obviously lack of.

I must say, it was freaking embarrassing. The end of interview.

Outside Cineleisure. And ah no, Eliz was indeed wearing her shorts. The jersey was hideous and it's too long. In addition, it was a Football jersey. (See the FC behind) What a marvellous team we have.

After the game, we went strolling around mindlessly until Tze Horng brought us to Echo Park where Eliz didn't knew what it was. The boys, ego-bruised, were playing basketball. Aamos seems like a reserved boy. But he was unbelievably aggressive when he played basketball.

Er no. Aamos's not here. He was whacking Lucas' head when he and Lucas were fighting for the ball at the corner. Incredible.

And here's Tze Horng, our devoted yet pretty aggressive driver checking the genuineness of the pillar.

The last two to leave the small court was Su Yang and Marcus, vying to shoot the last ball. Su Yang went pretty much cuckoo after he lost to Marcus. He tried to hug Eliz and Tze Horng even though he was aware of his sweaty state. He complained that Eliz hurt him because she rejected him.

Sounds really wrong. But never mind, we all know he's lose his sanity, but not enough to send him to the asylum.

So much for a day.

Fun Out!

It was a day where the Circle Ks and the Thespians invited kids from orphanage to our college to have fun.

Amy, Eliz, Ling, and Priya were at college doing their project. I arrived when they were at Burger King munching off their lunches. And I got my burger from them.

We waited for the kids to watch Kung Fu Panda at the concourse. When they came out, they headed to the cafeteria to have their lunches. So we went along to join them.

Amy immediately spotted a cute boy wearing a bright yellow shirt. Priya was staring at every little kids. Eliz was scanning the people around us. SueLing was whacking Priya ever 1 minute hushing her not to stare. Amy's eyes were totally glued to the twins (Oh yes, that cute boy has a twin brother!!). As for me, I was retelling my encounter with several people's ancestors.

Amy the cute boys abductor patted the boy's (Whose name is Ian Lee)head everytime she passed him when she answered her phone. That boy looked up at her looking terrified everytime she did that. LOL

Although other K-ers nudged us to interact with the kids, we felt awkward, as in really awkward. We wanted to move to the little kids table but it was all filled!! So we sat at our table, looking like an island in the middle of the sea...

After they finished their McDs, everyone move to the basketball court to play the Hoop game.

Here's Amy grabbing the kid the first chance she got...

Still remember a motivation talk we were given in Taman SEA? It was that hoop game. Everyone formed a circle by holding hands, hoops were inserted into the circle and everyone wriggled their bodies to go through the hoops...

Here we are, under the blazing sun, our skins burn as if they were heated in the oven. It was a big circle, so there were more than two hoops.

The game was fun. The situation tensed when we see two incoming hoops. No one wants to challenge the double hoop.

Taken before the Telematch started!! The blue shirt boy is the twins' brother.

Only the older kids joined the Telematch, the younger ones, those below 10, did colouring.

Eliz the Station Master at work~ XD

Eliz and I were stationed at the same place. Our station game? Hide flag stickers everywhere and make the team members search for it.

Every team is given 1 minute to memorise the flags (Perak, Selangor, Labuan and etc). Then, they can start looking for the flag until the whistle is blew. Match the correct flag will earn you 5 marks, wrong one deduct 1 mark. Any Malaysia flag found will earn bonus 5 marks.

We had to guard the border, make sure no one trespass the borderline, hide the stickers whenever someone found the same sticker their team members had found earlier.

You'd think our job is easy...

Think again.

We had to stand under the sun, repeat the instruction 6 times, remind the teams what they can't do, re-hide the stickers during the game, and brain-storm where to hide them. Especially the Malaysia flags. We had to hid them at the most bizarre place we could think of. After all, no pain no gain. XD

After I-forgot-how-many-teams passed, we were given a much-needed short break.

Then, we had a photo session as the kids from Compassion Home had to leave early.

Michelle from Compassion Home~ She's 15 this year, so yeah, PMR. Good Luck!!

Oh my. I feel bad. We're so mean. Why? Check for yourself.

SueLing and the Twins.

Me and the Twins.

Amy and the Twins.

Eliz and the twins.

You can see everyone was fighting to be with the twins. We're so mean to other kids.

Amy and her team plus some uninvited people.

More photos one the twins...

They're probably sweating seeing me jumping in front of them to snap more photos. Oh yeah, I ran forward and jumped. No wonder they looked like that.

I don't have the family photo. Will look for it.

Then, the game continued.

Priya's team looking for the sticker flags.

I hid one Malaysia flag on my camera. We had to hint to make them discover it.

Eliz with her usual eyes=lines look~~ XP

Finally, everything ended.

The last game was the straw game.

MIND YOU: IT WAS A SERIOUS WASTE OF STRAWS.

Do avoid this kind of stupid game that pollutes the environment. Especially those with authority.

I feel so guilty polluting the environment.

It was tea time after the game ended and we were provided Just Tea and sandwiches.

Eliz and I left during the prize-giving ceremony. I had to gesture my mum to move her car forward (her car was right in front of the concourse) as we wanted to avoid a grand exit in front of others. XP

And now, ah it's Father's Day. gotta ciao to do something. I know it's late already, almost the end of the day already, but nvm... lol

Bye~~

Rangers!!!!

In case you didn't notice...

We're Oranges!!!!!!! XD

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CER!!!

Ah no, it was a coincidence that Ms. Hasmizah used an orange tudung... Eh, why is it I don't see Priya anywhere? Oh I remember now!! She's NOT orange!!! XP Naturally, she took the photo...

I love our background!! The scenary ouside the window is so pretty!! The shade and colour reminds me so much of 07 Ghost!! XD

Cer!! Scan your card!!! I spent my homework time working on it!!!! XD

Scarcity!!! Opportunity cost to study forgone to do your BIG card! why does it has to be so big...? Even my sister helped colouring it...

Heez.

SueLing and Priya blasted the whole plan right in front of her face... No more surprise... So freaking disappointing.

It just happened like any normal Wednesday. The anticipation wasn't that great because Cerlyn KNEW!!! Gah.

Amy didn't even bother to cover up the card properly...

Birthday song burst only after Moral Studies ended like a squashed orange.

I really love our AK batch. It may be puny, not even bigger than a class of students back in Taman SEA (imagine that, that's how big the January intake is), but we feel like a family together!!!

LOL

Ms Malini noticed how united we are~~ And with love we stick together, we're invincible!!! XD

A lot is happening, but I feel so tired everyday that I couldn't bring myself to blog. Still, blogging clears my mind. It gets less cluttered and less stressed.

sometimes,
I just wish that
I have more time
Preferably 26 hours/7.

Perth - Last

I forgot to post this...
A random statue of a supposedly-famous-person-whom-I've-never-heard-of.
And oh, some bird decided to left something meaningful on his coat. XD

Last day at Perth.

Here's chubby Tony!!!!!! Aaaahhhh... The cold weather is tormenting his chubby cheeks!!!

And him eating. Don't ask any question on what's he's eating. You know kids these days, the market has all sorts of baby food for them...

My cousin's house at Mt Claremont.

My mum, the chubby baby and Annetta, my niece.

That morning, Augustin caught a bug from his friends, he wasn't feeling well. So Shirley stayed back with the kids to look after them...

Michael then bought us to a Chinese restaurant to have brunch (breakfast + lunch). It wasn't bad... But nothing too special. We left and reached the airport around 1pm, I think. Though the flight was scheduled at 3-4pm... Or was it later...

Went through the normal procedures... Lined up to check in, go shopping, security check and blah-blah-blah...

Look at the cameras!!!!! For that one moment I wished I never had any camera before and make my mum to get me one... Just for that moment...

At the duty-free zone, they have souvenirs shop selling boomerangs and Opal accessories, surfing-speciality shop like Ripcurl and Roxy, candy shop, beauty outlets and others...

I like a watch, I think the clock was cool but I dislike the wrist band... As the clock ticked, it was our time and we headed towards to the terminal, or-what-ever-it-is-called.

I must say, the Australia border rule is just very troublesome. It's ticking me... You can't bring egg, vege, fruit, seeds, and etc into the border... I understand that they have to protect their borders, but the way they put it everywhere in the airport threatening the tourists doesn't give a good impression... It's like, they're so full of themselves... I don't feel welcome... Not with those threatening signs making me paranoia whether I had any of those banned items...

I think whoever designs those warning should take Human Communication... You want to create good impression right?? Then use the right tone!!!!

Our balik-kampung plane.

The echo of our footsteps escorted us to our plane along the corridor.

Sometimes, I hate it when time moves so fast... Everything ends so fast. Before you know, the midnight bells thunder and you're back to reality.

One last post to go. If it goes smoothly... It'll be full of photos of... secret.

Double-crossing

So it's been another busy week. It just passed so fast.

It's like you enjoy dancing in the ballroom so much that you didn't notice the hands of the clock sneaking their way to 12.

By the time you're back to reality, you realize that one of your glass shoe is missing in the past.

Planning a surprise is very exciting.

I absolutely love that.

Happy Birthday to Pornya Priya. And to Karyn, whose birthday was weeks ago...

It was tiring.

Running up and down, racking our brains, panicking over Cer's unusual and obvious act, whispering among ourselves and signalling each other with every type of communication channel we could use.

We kept changing our plan. I love our final plan, we double-crossed the birthday girls!!

Morning arrived early that day. Eliz and Amy spoilt the plan a bit by saying Happy Birthday to Priya. All I could do was to pretend that I totally forgot about it and offered her a luxurious nail painting session, which she denied, sadly. Later on, BCM started and I told Priya to sit between me and Karyn so that I could draw her card.

Priya's POV: We're celebrating Karyn's Birthday. Not mine.

Whenever Priya was out of earshot, Karyn would join in to discuss about the plan.

Karyn's POV: We'll be surprising Priya!! Hehe!

When both are out of earshot, we discussed about the whole plan.

The end result was:

I asked Priya to take Karyn to the lady's after BCM lecture so we could prepare her Lollipop plushie. Then, I asked Karyn to take Priya to the lady's so we could prepare her Bear.

Priya's POV:I'll have to keep Karyn in the toilet until they're ready.
Karyn's POV: I'll have to keep Priya in the toilet until they're ready.

And so, after the lecture ended, I lied that my camera was in my car and I'd have to hop down to grab it while Cer decided to tag along. By the time we got the presents, Karyn and Priya were in the toilet brainstorming to keep each other in the toilet. Along with them were Annie and Eliz, to make sure they don't come out.

I don't suppose that was hard, as both parties wanted to loiter in the toilet so much that there's simply no need for our accomplices to keep them in. XD

I wish I was there to watch the fun...

So the boys in class fumbled to set up the muffins we used as cakes, cleared the tables, and so on. The candles were lit and Cer ran out to call the toilet dwellers. But Tze Horng freaked out everyone when he put out the candles as he feared that the candles are goners by the time everyone arrive.

So we had to stop them coming before Jiri lit the candles again.

*screams, squeals, shrieks, cries*

Eliz: Oooohhh!! Nooooooo!! Wait Priya!!! I drop something!!!
Priya: What? Where?
Eliz: In the toilet!! It's my..... my PHONE!!

And there went Eliz yelling that she drop her phone in the toilet and stormed everyone back to look for it. Clearly, that wasn't a very good excuse... LOL

*screams, squeals, shrieks, cries*

And there went Cer and I shouting at the top of our voice that whatever she's looking for was in class. Everyone scurried in to their places and burst into a birthday chorus when Priya entered the classroom.

She squealed in astonishment. Seems like she didn't suspect anything at all... Evern with Cer's pretty obvious behaviour such as yelling to people who aren't in her group that her group is having a meeting in the library and etc... ROFL

Then she blew the candles, probably wishing that David would kiss her... Then, we pop up another song for Karyn, which surprised her as well... And we stuffed the Lollipop into her mouth.

So much for a morning.

Went to Sunway to watch 17 Again after all the birthday hassle ended...

17 Again is pretty enjoyable. Though, I would prefer to sit somewhere higher so I wouldn't have to strained my neck...

Camwhoring in Marks & Spencer... LOL

And so much for a day.

And here's a Sakai in a car!!! XD

Puppy Love!

They've been here for at least... *racks brain*

Gah.

Just say since 16th of May.

Introducing Muffin and Popcorn. The evil puppies!!!!!!!

My dad named them 'Fifi' and 'Fefe'. But what kind of name is that??!! Secretly, we called them Popcorn and Muffin.

Both of them are female.

The white one is Popcorn, because it's white. Full name in Chinese is 爆米花,nicknamed 阿爆!! XD

The brown one is Muffin, in Chinese, 麦片!!

This evil pup loves to bully Popcorn. We have to traumatise it for doing that... Then she won't repeat it... Hohohoho...

And here's the infamous 小黄 (Xiao Huang), naive-and-always-bullied Popcron and the mighty-who-needs-a-whack-Muffin!!

Xiao Huang wasn't happy to see them, and he is still not, I suppose. Though, he seemed to have got used to them already...

Popcorn, smaller in size wasn't very cuddly. She refuses to lay still to let us cuddle her. Unlike Muffin.

It's just difficult to keep Popcorn snowy white. She'd just roll everywhere after bath and turn all sooty black again...

I'm training them to 'sit' and 'come'.

I'm thinking of training them to become pop dogs...

It's possible right...? XD

It's been so long since we had massive hole problem. Not to mention broken pots plus fly-away plants and scattered soil.

Spread the puppy love!!!!!!!!!

Another turns 18

I know it's late.

But HAPPY BELATED (here) BIRTHDAY to HUI VOON~~

We sang happy birthday to her in the lecture hall, when it's almost empty after the AL batch left.

It was rather empty, but Voon blushed like a ripe tomato on fire and 'spin' on the spot looking for a hole to hide.

Pffftt. She was so cute~~ LOL

Will start working on the new art an inspiration just knock me over, that is, when I can find time...

Heeh. I'm losing my inspirations lately.
My room is still in a awful mess.
Must be due to the stress.
I'm so lost right now.

Anyway... I went to Marco's Pizza twice. First time with Vincy and WanHui. Second time with Eliz.

The bacon pizza was pretty hard. I can almost hear my teeth crumbling when I muster my strength to chew the bacons on the pizza.

Here's the cheesy pizza~~

Next, I pray that you are not eating or drinking, I don't want you to choke or to drown you poor computer/laptop.

My abdomen is still aching from the workout last night for my dance class.

Looking at this photo made the pain ten times worse.

I'm laughing and moaning at the same time.

Knowing that Elizabeth will probably bash me with her tupperware if I were to post the original photo...

I edited a bit.

Though, I think she'll bash me up anyway...

Sadly, she's so much more prettier in the original photo...

Eli ze sakai mutilating the sad pizza.

For this particular moment, Eliz forgets who I am.

I certainly hope so.

Scratching

Scratching my head alright.

Fainting at the sight of the ticking clock.

Horrified every second the hands dance.

How many times have I told myself that, never, will I do a last minute work ever, again?

How many I wonder.

Shoot.
