Perth - Crap

Right. Continue from the zoo. We left the zoo around 3.15pm. Seeing that we still had time, we visited another mall, call Harbour-something-something...

Did some shopping at their hypermarket, bought more 'foods'. Oh yeah, we're food people!!! First time in my life I had a Lamington. Now I know what is a lamington... lol It's sponge cake coated with coconut flake and chocolate!!

Then we walked around the mall and 'tried' to shop a bit. I said tried. We have to try, things there (most) are quite expensive... If you don't try to buy, you can't afford... lol

Then we came across the St. John mini exhibition. Cleste!! You need to know more about it!!!

Showing the old, and the modern.

More antique uniforms...

Left the mall at 5, and that's pretty much what we did on that day.

Next morning, we woke up earlier (around 15 minutes earlier... XD). We're going to Fremantle market!!!

Checked the map, took the freeway, used the highway and we're there! Had a bit of problem parking our car... Couldn't really find the market, in the end we park at William Street!

Yes, the 'London Boy' Street!

Here's our car, again! :3

The street view at Fremantle.

And more...

Don't you love the sky?? So pretty-ly blue!!

And more street!!

Finally we found Fremantle market!!!!

Oops. Forgot to snap some photos in the market itself... But here's some marshmallows for you!!! (Egg marshmallows!! Elizabeth, what are your eye balls doing here!!!??)

Aren't they supposed to be there??!! *points upward*

French crap crepe, they pronounce it as 'crap'.!! So when you say you want to eat... It's 'I want to eat crap'.

I had a strawberry ice-cream crepe, my mum had a cheesy mushroom crepe.

Finger-licking good. Though, we didn't lick ours...

They had quite some interesting things there. Like the cap-opener key chains, really expensive accessories clothes caps, food stall, cds, magnets,

Moving deeper into the market... We have mutated vege and fruits!!!!

And if you're there, you'll see our eyes scanning every price tag for strawberries!!! Oh yes, strawberries!!! I just can't get enough of them!!

Look at the size of their greens...

More huge mushrooms!!!

And there's my mum looking at cheap fruit to buy.

We bought two boxes of strawberries, a shirt for my bro, bags of keychains (for some people)... Hmmm.. Anything else? No I guess...

Headed back to Perth, Adelaide Therese to return our car around 2.

And bye bye car keys...

Stranded Without our car, we took our time walking to the bus stop, which was pretty far...

Shop a bit at the streets, discovered more fascinating things around.

Here's the gasoline bus, I think it is. Long, right? Wonder how it turns...

Saw this man outside some tall, important looking building. Seemed to be some kind of host of the News network...

Best thing comes last!!!

An Excalibur Sword for sale at just 395$!!!!!!! Your choice of colour too!!!!
Hahahahahahahaha!!! ROFL!!!!
Saber where are you?? I got your sword!!!!

And there's Lancelot too!!! Though, I didn't know Lancelot is a sword... Or was it named after him... And it's more expensive than the king's sword!!!
LOL
INTERESTING!!!

They have more!!!! So that's how Robin Hood's sword look like!!!

The Australian bus was on time, unlike our bus system... *pukes* Though, the ticket fee was rather expensive... Everything there were expensive!!!!!!!!!!

Will stop at here. Estimated two more posts on Perth. Till then.

Perth - Marshmallows!

Hot Chocolate at McDonald's!! With Marshmallow Delight!! So sweet!

It was pretty cold on Thursday, my mum planned to visit the real estate agent to inquire more about my future 'house'. After getting lost for a bit... We paused our trip at McD to have a break.

I was slightly disappointed to find that Australia McD don't sell Pork Burger... But I found something else!! They have McCafe!!!!

See~~~

They have cakes, breads, coffees, mochas, lattes and more!! Under the same roof!!

Look!! They have Frozen Cola!!!

Regrettably... I didn't have the guts to try that out. I'm not like Cleste, who's like immune to the cold weather. Drinking frozen cola on a cold day is definitely an invitation to spend a week in bed.

Snooping around the restaurant for a while... After all, I'm not called paparazzi for no reason!!

Not very much different from MY McD. But they have more beefy products... They even have a Triple Cheese Burger!!! Tried out their French Fries to see the difference...

Hmm... Was it just me or their fries really taste better...? One thing for sure, it's definitely not cheaper than our local fries...

Shortly after that, we checked the Commonwealth Bank as we passed by, and through a lady there, we got directions for the real estate agent office we were looking for. After my mum settle her question bank, we headed off to Perth Zoo!!

Checking for the ticket price, I could feel my jaw dropping faster than the speed of the gravitational force.

19$ per adult.

That was expensive...

Half-dragging my protesting mum away from the zoo, the student price caught my eyes. 16$ if I can present my student ID. Instantly we rummaged my wallet for it.

And YAY!! Due to my foresight which told me to bring it along, we got a discount!

Ok... I think I sound cheap... But every penny save can achieve a significant result!!

Quit my moneysaving madness, let's continue with the zoo. We reached a fork road, and we followed the path that led us to the Australian wild bush. No point seeing Asian animals right??

First animal we saw, the penguin!!

Local Australian penguins. Never knew... They're very small compare to other penguin, but not the smallest.

Next, the reptile Perentie!!

And my mum harrassing it, traumatizing the unlucky thing.
Oh, did I mention that thing above was fake?

Some random bird...

And a loose goose on the run!!! Met it on the way...

Finally... KANGAROO!!!
My, my. This is one lazy kangaroo... It wouldn't get up and jump for me!!

Next, the Wombat.
This thing wouldn't look at me!!!

Follow by the Tasmanian Devil!!!
Shoot, every animal I saw seems to be looking for a place to poop...

And the kangaroos again...
No. No indecent behaviour in the public please.

So this is how a kangaroo moves when it's not jumping.

And here, we came across one crossing the pathway!!! Everyone dashed over to stroke it. Its fur was soooooo soft!! (Oh dear, do you think I need to 'mosaic' the lady...?)

After that, we saw the Koalas!
Evil koala refused to look at the camera...

Lastly, the Lemurs.
I'm not sure whether the Lemurs are Australians, but I'm sure I didn't see any in MY zoo before... White and black just like the pandas!!

We went through the bird section too. But no bird dared to approach us, which is very natural... Some photos were taken but the quality was too dreadful to be posted...

Next post, Perth - Crepe!

C2AGE

Went to HELP college to support Hong Chun's C2AGE last Saturday. I never knew that HELP college is actually an underground labyrinth!! Cool!! Though, I wouldn't like it to be unable to see the sunlight with lots of building on top of my head! lol

Vincy and I met up with William and Weng Hoe at Will's house (which is just across the street...). Waited for Kian Min. My my... He's like my mum, 'I'll reach there in 5 minutes!' We waited for 10. He's still not there...

Never mind that.

Reaching there... William led us down the sewers tunnel subway.

Reality check.

This is Malaysia.

Not Japan.

So yeah, it wasn't really big or fancy, but it was pretty fun.

Reached there just in time to see Hong Chun giving a speech as the president (Amazing guy, president in first year). After that, a Japan Ambassador gave a speech in English, and with a lot of effort, he did it in Malay.

Amazing, in a way. Though it doesn't really matter if he couldn't speak Malay... I don't mind him speaking English at all...

And then, he sang two songs, one English and one Malay.

Impressive I must say.

Hong Chun giving his speech!!

Found Cherng, Kazu, and the gang on the stairs.

OMG. Aaron-san dancing!!! lol

Entertained by this bunch of dancers. Can't stop laughing to see that Aaron is dancing that cute dance!!! (The most famous Suzamiya Haruhi dance anyone? Or wait... Was it that...?)

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
And Yuen Ying was there too!!

The stage

With some of us still in our puberty, we were starving after that. (It was 12 already) And Kian Min turned up with Kin Min later. So the whole bunch of us wander along the corridor and got back to land where there is sunlight.

Seriously, deciding where to eat with more than 7 people was just freaking hard.

As we strolled down the street, fate toyed with Aaron's 'spear'. For your information, Aaron cosplayed as William T. Spears (mind you, not William Shakespeare!!) from Kuroshitsuji. Any decent cosplayer will definitely have their characters signature item with them.

The spear thing trip and fell. And one end came off unceremoniously. Haha, the culprit was horror-struck, naturally.

We ended up in Subway, with the sad broken spear following us reluctantly.

At subway!!! Ken and William, and Kin Min looking shy behind.

Ah Chung, who turned up halfway when we're looking for a decent place to eat.

A photo with most of us in!!

After lunch and blasting Subway's roof off, we headed back to the event, just in time to see some action going...

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
The hentai-oji from Dragonball and someone from somewhere I've seen before but couldn't recall...

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Shizuka Hio, a not-very-Kaname-looking Kaname, Zero and Aidou (well... Should be...)

That's pretty much for that time, then we got split up and got bored. So we escaped to the theatre. It was playing Toki o Kakeru Shoujo (The girl who leap through time). It was a great movie with Oku Hanako's Garnet as its ending theme. Though, it would be more pleasant if the air-con wasn't blowing directly at me...

Then, we leave the theatre and joined the 'Guess the song name and its artist and source' game.

Nooooooooooooo.

Some were familar, like Slam Dunk's OP (Ah shoot, I didn't know the name), Gun X Sword OP (I just know that song course it's just not my type...) Could have got 'Platinum' from CCS right... I just couldn't remember the name and I didn't hear Kazu mentioning the name... I want that goody bag...

And after the last bag was given out, the cosplayer chess tournament started. Aaron and the emcee were the king of both sides!! OMG. Aaron was so cool, and funny that day!! LOL

Come to think of it... If there was someone cosplaying Lelouch... Wouldn't he be the best candidate for the king!!!! LOL

We got a nice surprise when we saw Shen Yen, still very, very blur appeared. She came and before I, or we know, I was jumping onto her. Apparently, she's one of those who thinks cosplayers are scary weirdos!!! LOL

Cosplay chess!!

I think the whole cosplayers as chess pieces thing is very confusing. lol They should have label them!! Otherwise the king'll have to ask them, 'excuse me, what are you?' over and over again.

One thing your ordinary chess piece can never do, seduce your enemy!! The girl was cunning smart! She knelt before Naruto to kick him away!! And Naruto simply scratched his head and played dead. LOL

We (Vincy and William + me of course) left HELP around 4pm... The event itself wasn't that fancy, but it's really nice to see so many old faces again~

Next event, DAICON!! Daicon in July anyone!!??

Heeh... I have so many to blog about... Things are really piling up... Will try to update and finish my Perth trip soon... And noooooo... Oral next week!!!!!!!! Oh dear! What to do?! What to do??!!
